Hi folks

Just taking a little opportunity to update you all on the current state of play regarding the petition against the Old Firm 5% ticket charge.

The petition is currently standing at 2209 signatures. When you condider that this petition is less than a month old, that is a fantastic total so far. So, thanks again to all who have already signed. If you can think of anybody who does not know about the petition but may like to sign it please tell them.

This message (as with the previous updates) will be posted on the following forums.

Aberdeen - www.afc-chat.net
Dundee United - www.dundeeunited-mad.co.uk
Falkirk - www.onefinfalkirk.co.uk
Hamilton Accies - www.setbb.com/acciesworld
Hearts - www.viewfromgorgie.co.uk, www.boysinmaroon.com, hmf*kickback.co.uk
Hibs - www.hibs.net
Inverness Caley - www.caleythistleonline.com
Kilmarnock - www.killiefc.com
Motherwell - www.steelmenonline.co.uk
St Mirren - www.blackandwhitearmy.com

As you can see, there are three addresses for Hearts. This is simply due to me being a jambo and knowing more addresses for the club.

If you guys know more addresses for your clubs' forums, PLEASE, feel free to post about the petition there.

Obviously there has been a down-turn in the ammount of names being added to the petition. But, we ARE still getting new names every day.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the "Well Boys '86" for their work AT games. If you click on this link ( viewfromgorgie.blogspot.com ) you will see some photographs that have been taken at Motherwell's first two games of the season. This is also the best place to keep up to date with the latest news on the petition.

Well done lads!! (pardon the pun)

If YOU would like to add any articles to the blog. Feel free to email the "loglinks" address that you can find on that page.

Cheers
youngy

He's a bad man, the real life equivalent of Dr Evil, he's really planning the new stand so he can build a giant laser inside it, and then use it to blow up the world

Why?

We've (AFC) have come to a sensible agreement with the OF which means that it doesnt cost us as a club anything - in fcat it could mean we (as a club) make money on the deal

Well someone commented that the amount of signatures was gash, but it will obviously be "gash" if nobody signs it....

Purely talking about the number of sigs

yeah but why ask an afc fan if he has signed it - we have a good agreement in place doesnt cost AFC or AFC fans anything so there is no need for any of us to sign it - we are, in general happy with what the club has done

2200 odd for the rest of the SPL who cant come to a sensible solution with the OF is gash, as AFC fans we dont care about it as we have a sensible solution

If the OF don't care about upsetting their own fans with passing an additional cost burden onto them, why would they care about a couple of thousand internet people who support other teams?
