Read this on Clyde 1...it makes you feel more intelligent,

The Lanarkshire side claimed a shock 3-1 win in the first leg of their Scottish Premiership play-off to leave Gers' hopes of a top-flight return hanging by a thread

Where's the shock of a team beating another in a lower league? Do Mwell have the bottle????????????????

Having saw the highlights which may well have been edited in favour of the tribute act, it's far from over.

Hamilton lost by two goals at home last year in the final and still went through.

There will also be the obvious penalty within 10 minutes of kick off for Motherwell to negotiate but they should be strong enough.

The zombies aren't capable of chasing games.

I watched the highlights too and The Rangers looked to have plenty of the ball... and created several great chances.

The major difference was in defence. The Rangers inability to defend on the break was astounding. No idea what they were doing, where to go, or who they were marking. It looked like the first time they'd played together.

If Motherwell are brave enough to have a crack at them, in the second leg, they could score several. If they bottle it and sit-in, then they are asking for trouble.

The highlights were kind to newco , they were never in the game except the first fifteen minutes. Once Motherwell scored it was more or less one way traffic.

They did have a brief flurry of elbows and knees on the fringes of the 18 yard box around about the 85th minute mark.

That constitutes all out attack for this version of the huns.

Fat boyds pathetic attempt at a dive was funny.

I would say that Boyd must be regretting his move to the hunnery but he will be raking in the cash and pies.

Motherwell got no credit whatsoever on Sportsound.

Not surprising when co-commentators were Derek Fergushun, and Chick Hun.

Why do we allow this massive bias in the name of the BBC?

Sportsound should be scrapped and replaced with something better from outside Glasgow.

Early on when Long makes the strong two-handed save and Foster retrieves the ball on the wing before being flagged for offside, can you be offside when you are off the pitch? Did Wilfried Zaha not get away with that against Liverpool a few weeks back? Think he tapped it in off one of his players but they were over the line (thus off the pitch) so it wasn't considered to be offside.

Just curious on what the rule is on that.

I'd imagine that the rule would be that you were not interfering with play if off the pitch, but if you then came back on the pitch and benefitted from having been off the pitch, you'd therefore become active and then be offisde.

All guesswork really, but makes sense...

I disagree about sportsound, there are a lot of non old firm supporting presenters/panelists/commentators on there. Spence, grant, cosgrove, Cowan, english, Gordon, Preston to name but a few are all non old firm supporters. Some of them could even be considered as very anti OF like cosgrove and spence.

I don't know how often you listen to it but they don't always bang on about Rangers and Celtic if they can help it. It's just that rangers are always in the headlines especially over the last five years when they died.

I disagree and I listen a lot.

Its Glasgow centric crap and Richard Gordon should be ashamed of himself for supporting it
