Reed or deed
I think we should aim for 100 points this season. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
I think I've said countless times that Celtic will drop points. They'll drop even more - no idea why some continue to think otherwise? The bigger issue is the Dons taking points.Wow! You should be a bookie. You would be a millionaire Link to comment
muttonhumper
McInnes said last night (before he drove doon to the Dundee - Celtic game), that he believs if we win our remaining 6 games, we will win the league. That would take us to 86 points. One above the Tordy Target. Real chance to heap pressure on the tims by beating Hearts.Mwell in great form. Could be a glorious weekend if we can rise to it. Guest RosemountRed
Hearts on Friday night. Every time we get the chance to show some fight we bottle it. We're as bad as hibs this season True, last chance saloon on Friday. Link to comment
StandFree1982
Love the optimism dave bus and don't disagree with your analogy. I'm just not sure we have it in the tank to win 7 games at this stage of the season.Thankfully we only have 6 more games to play then! Link to comment

Other thing going for us in that game - provided we do the business on Friday - is that looking at the table and fixtures 1 Celtic 32 52 73 2 Aberdeen 32 21 683 Hearts 31 20 56 4 Motherwell 32 -7 445 St Johnstone 32 0 436 Dundee 32 0 41 7 Partick Thistle 32 -6 418 Ross County 32 -8 409 Inverness CT 31 -5 36 Motherwell v CelticDundee Utd v Inverness CT Hamilton v DundeeKilmarnock v St JohnstoneRoss County v Partick Thistle Motherwell can't really afford to lose - Dundee and St. Johnstone both need wins to ensure top six places (given Caley's game in hand), Partick just need a win to leapfrog both and go level with Motherwell (superior goal difference), Motherwell have to take at least a point to ensure a top six place and a chance at Europe (If Celtic win the Scottish Cup), McGhee can't send out a weakened/demotivated team on Saturday, entirely conceivable that a loss in the early game would motivate St. Johnstone, Dundee and Partick to wins in the last post split fixtures. We're sitting 5 points off the top and 12 points clear of third. Hibs are 20 points off top, conceded the league title already and are sitting THIRD. Link to comment
Lencarl
The Scottish Professional Football will allow the post-split Premiership fixtures to be decided by computer, raising the possibility of a last-day title decider between Celtic and Aberdeen.(Daily Mail) Link to comment
Lencarl
Just a pity that there is not a computer that can take the place of these incompetent and corrupt people in charge of our game. Link to comment

The article also reckons we are the only team who can catch Celtic which is also wrong as hearts are 17 Points behind and have 21 points to play for Hard to believe the press when the are also predicting a top 6 play off between Dundee and ICT Yes it is possible but would require Dundee draw 1-1,inverness to win 10-5 combined against Dundee united and hearts Ross County and Partick draw each other Link to comment

Tord31
Had a strong feeling we would be put out of our misery at the house of pain. season over and thread closed. race for 2nd? LOL more chance of us winning the title by five points than any race for 2nd. Only positive to take is already been agreed for Brown to move back to england this summer. Good night Link to comment
