Ah....a noble attempt but went right over my head with my limited intelligence unfortunately.

Maybe if I had a bit more coffee.

Suppose it's just an extension of what the Bosman ruling was trying to stop with big clubs controlling the players. But the problem has always been a balance between players being human employees and commodities worth cash

so now clubs just control even more players by snapping up any & all the talent & loan out the ones they don't want to play in hope that other lesser clubs can develop them.

Where does the dolphin fit into the system?

He's lost me with that as well tbh haha

I just couldn't remember how to spell purpose & the next closest ' porpoise' wouldn't come to mind either so I tried some word association the best I could.

Yup, the clubs with money were always going to find a way to negate the Bosman ruling, now it's getting ridiculous how many players are getting bought then have a career of loans to other clubs.

I didn't even notice the dolphin pun......fun fact, dolphins are one of few animals who kill for fun and not out of necessity, sneaky fuckers

Anybody think we should be looking at some free agents potentially. A good few out there still looking for clubs who could do a job. Hoban out for around 3 months might mean we could look at another central defender, options of Caulker, Nedum Onuoha or Greg Halford who I believe is in discussions with Hibs.

Other players like Kazenga Lua Lua, Wes Hoolahan, Adam Hammill could all do a job in the forward areas where we lack some creativity.

Caulker genuinely is an alcoholic and shouldn't be anywhere near our club. Plus he looked fairly shit at Dundee, but that could just be the McCann factor, or because he was pished, or both.

I think we might see a defender come in on a short deal till January to help tide us over just now.

Do we have any CB's available at the moment? Does Considine count as a CB?

As do Orcas, Cats, dogs & some monkeys. I am sure the list is quite extensive really but everyone just thinks that cats are the only evil fkrs that do it.

EE should post an article saying why Steve Paterson believes Caulker would be a good signing

Have you just googled "out of contract Irish footballers who have suffered serious injuries in the last four years"?

From his Wikipedia he had Osgood–Schlatter disease, "characterized by a painful bump just below the knee that is worse with activity and better with rest".

McInnes must be trolling us all with this one.

The Northern Lights of old Aberdeen

Mean home sweet home to me

The Northern Lights of Aberdeen

Are what I long to see

I've been a wanderer all of my life

And many a sight I've seen

God speed the day when l'm on my way

To my home in Aberdeen!!
