Stewart Milne's Legacy

Recommended Posts

Stewart Milne has said that he had no choice but to bankroll the club when it hit hard times during his tenure after his replacement, Dave Cormack, revealed this week that his predecessor would contribute up to £100,000 a season over several years when the club was running low on funds.

He will get his money back when Pittodrie is demolished and his company build flats on the site.

Guest the shepherd

Some might say he got a lil rattled.

he’s dropped the rubber ball from the end of his touch screen pointer now

How do you go from referring to a song by Oasis to one by Bobby Vee in one post on an Aberdeen Football Club supporters forum?

You are a genius min

£100k... Pfft. What's that 0.0067% of £15 million turnover ? It's almost like Cormack is surreptitiously trolling Milne here...

I’ll stick up a bit for SM.

We have’t challenged for the league and should have won more cups but then has anyone else out with the minks during his tenure.

Hearts fucked themselves trying to, Dundee Utd and Hibs both been relegated, no need to mention the artists formerly known as Rangers.

We’ve had a few scares, but we are now debt free (acknowledge that this wasn’t his money) new facilities coming and have a team capable of competing to an extent if we fucking attacked.

It’s easy to say he should have thrown more money in but I suppose nobody really knows how much he did. It is certainly time for a change but things could have been a lot worse.

No way I'd trade a couple of Scottish Cup wins for relegation.

Agreed, would probably be a good laugh in the First Division. But imagine we failed in our plight to come straight back up and got skittered in the playoff by some shite?

I definitely would

Fucking joke how long we’ve gone without the Scottish Cup

He stood idly by as our stadium crumbled and he blocked any chance of enacting real change in Scottish football - he's a fucking wank
