  1. So apparently the "no confidence" vote Douglas Ross has called for is flawed - if it was no confidence in the government, that could collapse the parliament and cause an election. However, apparently he has only called a vote on no confidence in Humza personally. That has no legal force or effect and would only highlight that ppl think Humza is a dick. And we know that already. Is this a blunder or strategy? - certainly the SNP are on a road to nowhere and 2 more yrs of this would no doubt lose them more support. But the SNP couldnt afford 2 election campaigns in 1 year - and would not get many donations with embezzlement and defamation trials ongoing - so I would argue its best to press home the attack right now. Also rumours that Humza may chuck it today and no wonder. He got his life goal of being the first asian/muslim FM and, having delivered nothing but poorer services and higher taxes for scotland, can now take his illl-gotten riches and live out his days pontificating about Gaza.
  2. Thank you, nice to see some folk have still got good manners around here!
  3. Come on, I gave up apologising for you ages ago!
  4. Haha I can well believe that! In 2011, the Mrs and I went to florida and - like a fool - I left the car hire to her. She hired a Fiat 500 (!) which, while pleasant to drive and more than adequate, had us met with great curiosity & mirth at every set of lights 😁 (I would have gone for a Chevy Suburban)
  5. The likeness to various posters intensifies! Well, there still time to get the immodium in!
  6. The Ssangyong is more likely to be working in the "chinese hot food to take away" establishment (think they are korean) And I have just learned that few months ago, they changed the name from Ssangyong to KGM.
  7. One of your posts was screen-shotted & quoted on twitter a day or two ago. Claim to fame. (the one claiming Thelin picked the team for the semi)
  8. Who is this Spuzzy Dave character? From the brief initial info, he could well be several posters on here!
  9. Could be worse, could be Rangers.
  10. Typically mean spirited from milk-float driving Parky.
  11. They settled on that as Ford Hun didnt have the same ring.
  12. FFS, the Green party's malign influence creeps ever further! What do you drive?
  13. Good info thanks. I thought the 30 mpg was likely optimistic. Maybe get it driving on a frictionless surface, in a vacuum. What pick-up do you have and are you usually carrying loads? I saw the Ssangyong Musso Saracen got good reviews, im always interested in obscure / fringe manufacturers in search of a good deal! Edit - I must say, 20 mpg is certainly sobering information which has cooled my interest, that almost makes public transport attractive!
  14. (i) Define "need"? (ii) How is it? Ive always fancied a bit of green-laning (in England of course, the miserable puritan Scots are against such) and a bit of adventure, driving through the pyrenees, alps kola peninsula etc. Put a roof top tent on it, the worlds your oyster! Edit - its not so much that I need it on a typical day, but rather it opens up new possibilities.
  15. Im pleased to see the sick degenerates of the Greens ejected from Government. Yousaf all over the place as usual, only recently he said the pact was "worth its weight in gold" but has now scrapped it. He is an arse who doesnt know what he is doing. Gays are notoriously vindictive and catty, so I hope the Greens might cause a vote of no confidence and collapse the new minority govt. As a minority, the SNP will struggle to get anything through Holyrood, but this will in fact boost their electoral chances as all they delivered was a constant stream of unwanted and calamitous shite. The best thing Humza could do is to scrap the entire program of current legislation and get on with fixing the roads.
