Big Hat Logan
I give up. It's really not difficult. I'll just call you a happy clapping cunt and wait for the meltdown. It's just easier. So you can’t name a feasible up and coming young manager who you know about and have tried to bring up some argument you’ve had over gleeson with a different poster thinking it was me Link to comment
BWG
Already said Danny Cowley is one worth considering in the up and coming market. If it wasn't you who was going mental because I questioned Gleeson then apologies. I'll find that out later. Link to comment
Yorston Vasey
Micky Mellon. Scottish, and a great name. If we've got any of Mark McGhee's training gear still stuffed away in a cupboard we can reuse it and save next year's DNA money for more heart monitors. 2 Link to comment
Mr John
Are you suggesting that Aberdeen aren't a bigger club than Kilmarnock? No. Learn to read. Link to comment
The Oxford Don
Things would have to get properly bad (and I mean like, relegation-trouble bad) before there was even a hint of McInnes being emptied. He's Milne's man through-and-through and is now firmly interwoven with the fabric of the club... viz his statements on the new stadium etc. The only way he'd leave would be if an English job came up that he fancied and felt wasn't beneath him, but paradoxically the worse he does with us (and it's hardly going brilliantly at the moment), the less likely that is to happen. Nope, we're stuck with him for a while yet. Just try and be at peace with it. Link to comment
DD1903
It was a name that had come up in conversation. Believe he went in and immediately got them 2nd or something. Like I said it was an example of an up and coming manager. Wasn't touting him for the AFC job because as I'd said, I don't know enough about him. Quite easy to shit on an opinion without offering one of your own though m7+1.My opinion is you were talking shite, again. You fire in a name you've heard someone else mention, whilst knowing nothing about him or his management record. But that's ok as he's 'up and coming'. 5th in the welsh league, managing a semi pro team.lolz Barry ferguson was also once an 'up and coming' manager. 1 Link to comment

TheRock
. So what happens next season when Mcinnes has signed his usual loanees who really don't give a shit about AFC and Aberdeen finish in the bottom 3. Do the supporters have to suffer this shit all this season then all next before dumplin Milne sees the light.Yeah, probably. I'm arguing in defence of this position, just I think that is the position. Link to comment

dazzy_deff
Yeah but he was nursing his shoulder injury and not risked, was he not? If not then I'll accept responsibility and apologiseWas declared fit by Mcinnes in the press conference leading up to the game. No mention of still feeling the effects or being eased back. Parklife
McInnes isn't getting sacked any time soon. Milne loves him and, like it or not, McInnes has earned the right to be given time to turn this season around. He's been a very, very good manager for us. Sacking him for a dodgy start to the season would be ridiculous and would certainly put prospective candidates off. We're 90 minutes from a cup final and have 3/4th's of the season to make up ground on those above us. McInnes has frustrated me of late but it's important to try and be level-headed. There's every possibility we'll turn this around. Link to comment

BitWait
Hearts noisy? Aye maybe after they scored. Loser words from a loser. If AFC had been up for it and showed attacking intent the home crowd would have been quietened. Not to be , the hertz fans knew from the first 10 minutes that they were on a winner and duly celebrated. Link to comment

Jocky Balboa
Roy Keane would set the cat among the pigeons, but history tells us he'd make an impact but also many enemies, even among his own team... Then bail at the first sign of trouble. Clarke is a good shout, as a short term placement, before he uses us to launch his career down south. Derek Adams is well thought of at Plymouth, also knows the club very well. Strachan is a nonstarter, as is McLeish. Lennon likewise. Jack Ross, if he doesn't succeed in present employment? I may get stick for this, but isn't Tommy Wright at least worth a shout, as someone who has consistently punched above his weight AND regularly outsmarted McInnes in key games? (Unlike DMC, Wright has learned from past mistakes... witness the 4-0 LC mauling overturned by their SC victory in 2013-14) Link to comment

RUL
Derek Adams is not well thought off at Plymouth whatsoever. Jack Ross has Sunderland challenging at top of League 1 so doubt he'd come to us as I am sure they now have an owner who has access to some cash. Link to comment
