The Boofon
You can argue all day to what he's 'worth' but I don't think we'll actually get £15m for him simply because we're not realistically going to turn down £10m for him, are we? We turned down 9 so it's not beyond the realms of possibility that 10 would get same treatment. Link to comment

The Boofon
He could be contracted to 3023, it doesn't matter No Aberdeen player is going for 9m never mind 15 Give it a rest FFS. 2 Link to comment
TheRock
Allegedly.I thought that was more in the £6m region..? I guess none of us really know, just what we've heard from people 'ITK'. Link to comment
Sonoftherock
If we can get someone to pay over the odds for him, during the desperation of the English January transfer window, I'd be happy to see him go at this point. I'll use a @@PondHopper analogy here... in baseball when you get to the mid season trade period and your team is out of contention, your major 'pieces' go 'on the block'. Link to comment
RUL
But for us realistically it's all about the Scottish cup. Link to comment
Tord31
We sell as soon as we have an offer we cant turn down which I'd hope is over £10m but in all probability is a good bit less Link to comment

Same for after the all star break in the NBA. And that's what I'm wondering, is Aberdeen going to be buyers or sellers? Link to comment

CalgaryDon
Currently the team is lacking creative types in midfield and our forwards are truly underperforming as a result. We have no chance as things stand of winning the Scottish cup - unless we recruit well in January (the toughest transfer window to work in). In order to do so we'd have to sell Mckenna and reinvest that money back into the squad. Do you sell McKenna and attempt to strengthen the overall squad or do you wait until the Summer and hope the current bunch can improve on performances for the remainder of the season? I can't see much activity happening in January for us unless we sell McKenna. Whats most frustrating is that if we win our games in hand - we are within a few points of second and we have an excellent set of fixtures coming up (mostly played at home). We really need to take advantage of this opportunity. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
I see the MT tactics here. He's arguing with the jokingly higher bids now to make them seem like serious valuations, so he can come back & say 'I told you so' when the £15m, or £10m, or even the £9m isn't met. All to distract from his original argument of him saying we wouldn't get more than £2m for him which then increased to we won't get more than £5m for him. He's working his lower valuation up the sneaky twat. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
His next point will be 'we will probably get 7 figures for him but not 8 figures' Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
When did I say 2m?You said we would be lucky to get over £1m for him. You were in agreement with Kelt. Link to comment
Reed or deed
Every time it's mentioned, some ridiculous "football forum logic" 're a valuation for him, I'm entitled to call it shiteWhich it isEntitled to call you Jonah. Link to comment

Tord31
Cool story. I'd previously said any offer from them had to include Griffiths. Probably back tracking on that now. 1 1 Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
PaaaaaaaaahahaNo more ridiculous than your pish. Easy invite for you to say he won't go for half the price. Which still helps with the steady increase in the valuation you are saying he won't reach 1 Link to comment
Don Fonte
He'll go for about 5/6m plus add ons I'd guess. So if youre sky sports news youd take the highest possible fee and report it as 8/9 million. Link to comment
Torry Tosser
Newsnow....Aston Villa,Wolves and Southampton will battle it out for Aberdeen and Scotland centre back valued at 6 million in the January window.6 million, having a laugh aren't they?Bet Milne takes it though. Link to comment
oilcat
TBH, Id say we would take 6 million if offered in January if the majority of the cash goes straight back into tying up Shinnie and GMS as well as getting a couple of fresh faces in.... 1 Link to comment

Kiriakov33
I think he will be here until summer. Stock is continuing to rise. May get offers for 6-7 million but could get closer to 10 in summer.. 1 Link to comment
