Shout out for a statue of Martin Buchan lifting the cup in 1970.

For folk my age that cup win was massive.

Martin Buchan was a local loon and if I remember correctly, was the youngest captain ever to lift the cup.

Buchan oozed class.

Correct about Buchan but statue still has to be Willie holding aloft the CWC.

I think its important the pre-80s years are not forgotten, too many people think football started in the 90s as it is.

We have a lot of history to commemorate.

Of course the zenith is that moment in 83.

We could have a statue for each decade of the club's history

2000 to 2010 will be a struggle. Maybe Pele peeking out of the boot of a car.

According to a girl who was at the meeting...

Safe standing costs three times as much as normal seating does, which means to incorporate it they may have to cut capacity. They also think this will help stadium be full more often.

Cormack asked those at meeting whether they would prefer 17,000 - 18,000 capacity but with standing, or 20,000 without. They all voted for the smaller capacity.

Can't make the stadium higher due to height restrictions imposed on them, which also means they can't make it very steep.

Considering making the supporters bar the length of the north stand. Been impressed by what they saw at Tottenham. Access by membership or extra on ticket price.

Also considering indoor fanzone.

Dig down is fair enough but bound to increase costs.

It's actually a bit ridiculous there's a height restriction that low- how the fuck are we supposed to be a decent stadium with restrictions like that?

It's not like they are planning something the size of Celtic Park, Ibrox, Hampden, Murrayfield etc.

Is it even possible to dig much lower though due to the oil pipelines?

The supporters bar being length of the stand is a must I think. I don't see why we should have to pay to get in though.

That's mental to suggest you'd need to pay to get into the pub pre match. Fuck that. Few pints in the Westhill Arms or whatever pub is there instead. Huge loss of revenue charging people to get in and losing sales.

Yeah it does seem a bit off, but it might make sense if you've got say 5,000 people wanting a pint in a 500 capacity bar.

Best solution might be to have 2 bars. One for people who are happy to pay for entrance/membership in order to get a pint and another for those that are happy to take their changes.

And fuck the marquee, the club should buy one of those so called temporary buildings that they use at the beer festivals in Germany.

As well as the horrendous location now sounds like the stadium itself is going to be utter shite.

It would need to be all ticket, especially for bigger games

Wouldn’t mind paying an extra few quid to get in to be honest, helps club cover costs

Just wait until folk are moaning about paying £6 a pint
