#1727633 Out Of Contract

Posted by dazzy_deff on Yesterday, 10:32 PM

Hopefully not Gleeson. There’s a player in there. Been impressed with him. Helped Deano too when he came on in the hearts game which can only help longer term. From the outside I would guess young centre midfielders would learn more about playing their position from Gleeson than shinnie.

#1727595 Chris Forrester Signs

Posted by dazzy_deff on Yesterday, 08:48 PM

£150k. Regardless of how much of his 3 year deal he has been paid it's clearly McInnes biggest blooper in the transfer market.

Fuck all minutes. 7 subs and 1 start (subbed at half time).

It looks even worse than the Callum Morris and Neil Alexander signings and they never even made it off the bench

Neil Alexander wasn’t a poor signing. We were just lucky that joe Lewis didn’t miss a game that season and played so well. I’d much rather have had him on the bench than rodgers at that time (probably still would to be honest).

Agreed. Moan about equality but no sign of getting their purses out after dinner to equally split the bill.

And the outrage if you smack them in the face.

#1723677 Shinnie To.......

Posted by dazzy_deff on 16 January 2019 - 09:38 AM

Kind of agree.

I don't think we'll find a player with the same drive and will to win though. That's the issue.

Some folk have screamed for a Willo Flood type. That's Shinnie, just far, far better. It's a shame we didn't have someone who could dictate play beside him for most of the season. He's expected to do too much, some of which he doesn't really have in his locker.

And the expectation to do too much is why he gets booked so often. Picks up a lot of silly bookings being out of position and getting frustrated. There is no agenda against him, he just runs about a bit like a headless chicken. As you say though, great drive and determination and will be missed as a captain.

#1721829 January Transfer Window 2019

Told by someone with close links to the Donald’s this afternoon that there is movement with the Johnny Russell story. Apparently a substantial element of truth in it.

Would be an ace signing if it happens.

Think Betty has a point, but 4 and 8 probably more accurate rather than 6 and 10

McInnes tried to sign Cadden in summer. His agent was trying to convince him to move to Pittodrie too, but Cadden refused, saying he didn't want to leave the central belt for the north east.

There's a possibility Aberdeen might try again this window to see if he has a change of heart.

Don’t want him in that case...mink.

Kids only appreciate a holiday aged 6+.
Kids only appreciate a foreign holiday aged 10+.

Anything younger is wasted cash.

Sounds shite. Better off with a TUI family resort at that age.

Kids only appreciate Disney aged 6+.

Anything younger is wasted cash.

Each to there own.

Cool story.

McInnes has already stated where this was spent. The money was put towards the 'football operation'... including the drone technology, to record and analyse training. The money ring-fenced for transfers was spent on James Wilson. Again, it was stated we wouldn't have been able to sign Wilson without the DNA money.

I've heard rumours that we'll need to shift players out, before we can bring anyone else in. Certainly with Lowe out the door, you'd think we now have scope to loan another player...

The drone was free, provided by the company who’s name is plastered all over the RDS.

#1716028 Max Lowe

Posted by dazzy_deff on 02 January 2019 - 04:14 PM

On the bench but never came on. Lampard is a cunt

He was put to us on loan because he had 3 left backs ahead of him in the pecking order. Two of those are now injured so he still has one ahead of him. Chances are he will be their back up left back now and play if the other left back gets injured. Lampard just looking after his own club. The negativity should be aimed at our club for negotiating another 6 month loan deal

#1715226 Any Interesting New Year Resolutions?

Posted by dazzy_deff on 31 December 2018 - 04:22 PM

New Years resolutions as follows:

Back to the gym minimum 3 times a week and also get involved in the badders again at work.

Clear out the garage of the little ones toys and get my punchbag hung which has been in the box for the past year. Whether or not I’ll use it is a different matter but I aim to have it up by spring time.

Haha brilliant! Transformers I was addicted to, also Thundercats! Dogtanian had the yelpy dog bit in the theme tune

My mate got nicknamed Hobo, he used to play the theme tune in his pub after he got the name :hysterical:

It regularly got played in Amadeus and then liquid back in the day. Quality.
