  1. Agree, always looks like he’s lost a fiver and found 50p/2 quarters. Wants to cheer up a wee bit. Aye Aberg is some player.
  2. Still one of JC’s best signings. Not sure about the bleached hair though.
  3. He was probably too busy celebrating the unlikely 2-2 draw.
  4. That was cringey af. Has good willpower though, able to call it a night at about half 7 when 5 pints deep in a new city! Should have stayed out, got pished and bought all the locals shots in each bar. Toby jug is unfortunately a hun pub. McKinnons is not really gentrified in the way that the old Bairds bar next to Barras is. As was evident in the video it’s still a bit of a shithole old man’s pub. Does open at 8am though and might be the chosen watering hole pre match on Saturday. Hard to find a proper dodgy pub nowadays, especially mid week and late afternoon / early evening. Wear a dons, Celtic or hibs top and go to grapes bar or Loudon is probably as close as it gets.
  5. Asked for his autograph at St Andrews open practice day when I was a kid. Refused and told me to get back behind the ropes. He hasn’t won a major since then so I think I’ve had the last laugh.
  6. Bit of a damp squib wasn’t it? Scheffler turning into Tiger mk2 this year. Boring when same guy wins all the time.
  7. Could have been worse, imagine waking up half an hour later.
  8. White “fisherman’s” polo neck cravat cycling shorts football socks (rolled down, am not a weirdo) crocs The looks of envy from other pub goers are immediately apparent.
  9. Just get any dog and put a guide dog style harness on it. Act surprised when told it’s not a lab or retriever.
  10. A decade ago today. Only Hayes still around the periphery of the first team that was involved that day, albeit he lasted about 5 minutes. We probably won’t ever see again as many dons fans at a major final. Was quite surreal walking about Glasgow city centre and seeing so many. Getting a bit lost post match and ending up celebrating in some uber hun pub in Dalmarnock/Bridgeton area en route back to civilisation was good fun. Should have done the cup double that season too. Mcginn missing a great chance at 1-0 was, in hindsight, the game changing moment. That and May bullying Ryan Jack for their goal(s)
  11. I normally hate your inane drivel but I liked that one. Maybe our win today has mellowed me.
