We all know Tup & Jonny Hayes are best pals but who else mixes with famous folk?

Feel free to share however tedious or in Tups case untrue.

Ill start with I once paired up with the lass from hitman and her to win a most unusual stone comp at Haggerston castle

The Northern Lights of old Aberdeen

Mean home sweet home to me

The Northern Lights of Aberdeen

Are what I long to see

I've been a wanderer all of my life

And many a sight I've seen

God speed the day when l'm on my way

To my home in Aberdeen!!

My da kens Jim Whyte who played full-back for the Dons 1965-1970.  Also sort of kens McKimmie and says he's a total bellend.

Tup kens Johnny Hayes, nae Jonny Hayes.  Different guy.

I once met the late Queen Mother, for reasons of state security I will not mention the place or circumstances. It was my job to see that her glass was kept full, no mean feat as she could fair put away the Gordons Gin. Anyway we got to blethering and it turned out we had something in common in our passion for the horses. I will never forget her whispering in a conspiratorial tone, through her slightly blackened teeth and bright red lipstick, never to waste my money betting on any horse that bounder Piggott was on. Just before she left she winked at me and told me she had a Yearling coming through from Ascot to run in the lucky last at Lingfield on Saturday and I should get my shirt on it. Needless to say the donkey came in last and I lost a wee fortune. Ever since that I have been a staunch republican who would be quite happy to see the whole royal family pickled in formaldehyde and exhibited at Madam Tussauds.

Probably bored him shitless with an in-depth analysis of the ineptitude of Bergen's tradesmen.

I took Stewart McKimmies passport picture around 1990, It was just after that infamous St Johnstone thrashing and If I remember it was his first time as captain so I asked him "What the hell happened there then? " Needless to say he didn't let me into the juicy gossip but he did look a bit embarrassed in his picture.

Haha. Too busy to list them all but Aldrin, Wiggo (cyclist not chairman of AFC) and The Queen the top 3. In that order. Gaddafi a close contender just out the top 3 purely because hes dead.

Too many more to mention.
