I think deep down I'm a Southern Redneck.

So I'd be shacked up in the forest somewhere in Louisiana/Texas/Alabama etc.

I love their whole style.

Shoot anything that moves, drink heavily, not a fan of the flowery homo, like big engined cars and bikes.

My dream, and a simple dream it is.

To bust through saloon doors with my cowboy boots n Stetson and get shots of whisky slid up the bar all day before riding off into the sunset.

UK life, once you start speaking to other folks from around the world is.....fucking shite.

Getting a bit sick of life here mainly due to the cost of living.  Thinking about moving to the Philippines with the bird. Just a bit concerned with the level of violence there.  At least in Malaysia, they were mental but with no alcohol in their systems.  Singapore, sterile and whoring expensive.  Philipines,  mental people who like a drink and everyone have a gun.

The UK is ace in some parts.

Europe for me.
Cultural centre; history galore; the finest landscapes; perfect weather and the worlds best cities.

The worlds best food and drink (beer\wine\coffee & mineral water) also contributes significantly

Toronto/Vancouver both appeal to me, very chilled places with plenty of shit going on that would keep a man entertained, failing there it would be Berlin or somewhere in Colombia which has gained in popularity in the last 5 years with lots of people ditching Thailand to move there.

My pal moved to Vancouver in June and he loves it, the quality of life is fantastic and there's lots of crazy things going on, although I was only there 4days it's such a relaxed place, weed about to be legalized but there's 100s of shops already set up, a few vape lounges and cafes too.

Berlin.

After that possibly Amsterdam, Rome or rural/coastal Italy (Sorrento would be ideal).

Bluto right in there with a suitable vague "Europe".

Presumably he could be plonked down anywhere in Europe, from Norway in the north down to Greece in the south and be as happy as a pig in shit.

Location location H min.
Europe is where it’s at.

No matter where you live there is another good country about 1hr away.

Unlike, say, trendy Oz

Did you live on a ranch and shoot animals?

If not you never lived the Texan lifestyle.

Norway.  I'm standoffish, left-leaning and generally socially awkward.  I'd fit right in there.

You don't think so?

Take one happily married man with two kids.

Put him to San Antonino where he runs a very successful BBQ meat n beer shack, people come from afar to eat his delicious food. Lives on a farm with 50 acres and they ride motocross bikes in their spare time.

Then the next year put him to Wick where he works at a sewage plant clearing blockages of shit and fanny pads, living in a one bed flat next to a family of junkies.

I've been on a ranch and shot a duck. Easy.

Ranch dressing on your chips is about as close to Texas as you'll ever get min.

Southern Portugal. More Lagos/Alvor than Brit infested shit hole Albuferia though, obviously.

Or somewhere in Italy where no cunt speaks English.

It's passably liveable, but for me it could never compare with the paradise that is Lower Donside and it's close proximity to the architectural and social magnificence that was once The Broadsword. Sigh!
