They appear to be reasonably certain that DM will be offered Huns job.
Cannot see it myself as think that Derek would damage his reputation by joining a club that is rotten to the core, and seriously reduce the chances of achieving his real ambition and returning to manage in England.
Thoughts?

He is 46 years old so plenty time to be an aberdeen and sevco legend yet. Ten in a row is happening regardless so if he does want the job hes best to hold off until a time where success is far more probable. Hes probably got 25 years potential career yet. I think his next move will be to an english club in the top 30 spots i.e. prem or top of championship but ideally hell be holding out for premier league

I'd recommend Neil McCann.
He's a fucking brilliant manager - is trained in the art of speaking like an absolute hun mongoloid and his jumpers fucking reek.
And the cunt wears cardigans.
Perfect.

Ten in a row isn't nailed on. If Rodgers wins a second treble he won't hang around for a third attempt - one wrong appointment and it could be lost in a two horse race with a decent chasing pack.

As mentioned before. The job is only available in a crisis.

Would be good if Del speaks to them out of courtesy (not that they should be afforded any, but DM seems to be a man of principal), decides they are a fucking joke outfit and publicly declines the job stating they are a shambles and Aberdeen are a bigger club.

He should hold a press conference to say he has spoken to the people in charge Rangers and the liquidators BDO confirmed that Rangers are still being liquidated so dont need a new manager.

That should do it.

Understand that Pardew and Coleman, having spoken to Huns, are no longer interested.
Looks like the recruiting is going well.

Any manager with half gram oh commen sense is gan to fuck them off.

When a manager fucks you off to manage Sunderland at bottom oh the Championship you ken there's a serious problem.

Pardew is a degenerate gambler and even he's fucked them off.

Career suicide for any manager

Coleman allegedly turned down the huns to take the Hunderland job.  If that's true then what a fucking mess Sevco must be if fucking Hunderland look good by comparison.

Find that hard to believe.  A raging drink habit not the cheapest thing to service, especially with the new minimum pricing legislation

He might still get it I reckon.

Could be that the problem in making a quick appointment is when they get down to the details of transfer budget with any prospective. I genuinely think they are now running out of benefactors to fund the club- its all reliant on Dave King and we don't know yet if he'll pony up or not.

Might be even Eck had the sense to balk at been told the transfer budget was exactly zero but he was required to stop Celtic in at least 1 trophy a year.

I reckon they will want to have someone in before their AGM on Thursday to deflect some attention from the inept financial shambles overseen by the board which even some of the die hards are starting to latch onto now. Probably announce McLeish as manager at the AGM itself

This is going on so long it must be getting around to my turn to be declared favourite for the job. For the record, I'm just concentrating on my own job at present and won't be adding to any prospective speculation.

See they were back at it last night on Sportsound in the run-up to the Killie game.

"Steve Clarke has had a great run since becoming their manager - 10pts from last 5 games!

No offence to Killie but they have done really well to get a manager of that caliber - lucky Rangers weren't looking for a manager then - they could have done with getting someone in with his level of 'big club' experience" said McLaughlin

  :wtf:

What a complete tosspot that man is

Have to agree with MT: what's the objection here? He's not openly touting him for the job which absolutely would have been tosspot-behaviour. He's just saying that Clarke would have been a good appointment for the Ranters, which is indeed the case.

Depends on the exact quote. If he said 'lucky rangers weren't looking for a manager then' then I agree with lgb1969 he's being a cunt mouthpiece.

If he just said 'it would have been a good appointment for rangers' then fair enough.
