I must of been told profit. I didn’t look back the messages to see. I’ve just looked them back now. A extra 1000 tickets could net the club an extra 150-200k. I’m not denying that it dosnt make a difference and it’s great. But it’s not as much as you would think. I guess it’s an extra 3.5k a week on wages potentially.

3k in extra season tickets dosnt get you anywhere near even 1m. It’s great having a full house but on the scale of things it makes very little difference unless it’s 10s of 1000s. It’s why German teams don’t shaft their fans for an extra 10m a season as it’s fuck all in the scale of things. A benefactor that sticks in 6m a season however is a potential game changer for Scottish teams.

Part of me does wonder if Cormack has enticed Thelin with a massive budget by hedging on the sale of Bojan and Ferguson.

Last years winner played for a lesser team and has went to inter for 27m euros. But given Bologna are going to be playing in CL and he’s on a long term contract it’s safe to assume it would have been a fair bit more.

The fear is that he is never the same player after he recovers. Was probably on the Wishlist for alot of elite clubs this summer. Be typical Aberdeen luck if he now sees out his contract at Bologna.

Literally no1 on here thinks that. Where has anyone said that. It’s like your take on our god given right to finish third. Everyone’s knows he has to be earned. But even with a horrific season we are probably 4th fav for title next season with bookies.

Because we are speculating to accumulate. You think Thelin has left his current team to work with no budget?

We were paying way over our budget so a lot of that money is already spent. It does look as if we made a royal cunt of the last 2 transfer windows though. Let’s hope we spend the Bojan money more wisely. Not sure what the last head of recruitment did to get his Leeds move.

Yours underestimating how bad a manager Robson and Warnock were for us. I won’t disagree that hearts have a better side. But equally our squad has shown if we can keep clean sheets we can win games. Had we sacked Robson sooner and gave it to Leven till end of the season their is no doubt in my mind we would be in the top 6 and probably in Europe this season. I wasn’t against Warnock at the time but wow he was worse than Robson. Thelin is no sure thing but I’m already looking forward to next season. We just need a good summer of recruitment and I’m confident of a good season.

I think it’s more down to keeping the pressure off the young lads and not letting scouts know x players is settling the place alight.

We will be patient. The reason we have turned on the manager in 3 months is because they have been shocking appointments from the get go. This is completely different. From what I’ve read people said we should be aiming for third not that it’s a certainty. Where do you think we will finish next season?

Not sure Celtic or Rangers would pay the money for shankland. Prob be a few championship teams in England looking at him. More chance of them keeping him than us keeping Bojan. Now that he’s won player of year Hearts will want more for him. Will someone pay the money they want?

still find it wild Angus wasnt played under Robson or even Warnock. Defence was a disgrace and still never chucked him in for a proper run.
