Aberdeen sack Derek McInnes

Recommended Posts

Your way didn't work anyway, he blocked you for being a knob.

Players don't really give a fuck what you've got to say, they listen to coaches and managers and rightly so with some of the shite that's said on here.

Fair point. Was boozy and it was probably the wrong thing to do. I wasn't offering tactics to him, more inferring he and his team mates don't have the bottle. Which they don't.

At least he knows fans aren't happy. I'd imagine they walk into training on Tuesday morning getting pats on the back and being told they were 'unlucky' by the staff at AFC.

The 'fucking wank' part, is maybe stupid. Don't see the issue with asking if they plan on turning up in big games? Also, how did you get a hold of my Twitter? Weirdo.

Very easy. I typed in Niall McGinn's username to twitter search to see what messages he'd received after the game, and yours is the second one alongside someone calling him and other players "shitebags".

Didn't have to be a detective to find that but glad my investigation skills impressed you.

I'd imagine you are wrong but each to their own.

Different point but I'd imagine McInnes is as annoyed as anyone about his record in these games despite what he's said to the press. He will be desperate to make it right which makes it puzzling to why he makes the same mistakes.

So going by that logic, if Shinnie comes back from suspension and plays a stormer against Motherwell, its all down to McInnes.

If Shinnie plays better than he did when he first arrived then yes credit goes to McInnes.

For a long time he hasn't been as good as that player.

Point anyway is, apart from the squad he came in and made play better because they were underperforming shite, then added a few signings that worked for a while, everyone gets worse under him now.

Believe it or not, that someone else is my brother. Family of 'special kind of stupid then.' Paying customers can say what they want, don't take much heed of a what a wet blanket BBC journo has to say. Especially after you defended their coverage of the game in Scotland. But aye, just you feel better about yourself there.

You don't think Logan has made any improvements as a player in the last four years?

Shinnie signed as a full-back, and whether you agree he would be better playing there or not, McInnes has turned him into a very good midfielder. Of course he's improved as a player.

As for others. Rooney? McGinn? Hayes? Maybe even Christie? McKenna?

I'll give you McKenna (regardless of how he got his shot to start with), but the rest I wouldn't say have improved. They were all good players when they arrived and they have just maintained that standard the time they've been here.

They all get worse under him yet twice he's broken a points record and after being told he'd taken the team as far as he could he reached two Hampden finals.

Not seeing any evidence for players getting worse.

Rooney. Can't deny that one.

Yeh that's right, Hayes single handidly led us to second.

Strange he didn't do that at Caley? Must have been because he improved at Aberdeen under McInnes.

Yes Hayes improved as I said with the team that McInnes came in and improved ffs.

You deny players signed get worse under McInnes. Discussion finished.

Yep, took Rooney from not scoring in England to scoring for fun up here and even into the Ireland squad.

Another example of a player improved under McInnes.

I mean this season, Panda. You sarcastic fanny. He used to be a decent target man for us, that's went out his game. And now he offers nothing unless he's getting 5 chances a game of which he'll probably score 1.

It's the type of investigative journalism the Scottish football section of the BBC is renowned for.

The vans let it down I'm afraid lad.

I have to be honest with my views.

If you up your game in the trainer stakes, we can have a review of this.

Next pay day I was thinking a pair of Nike Cortez'...that stand me in good stead?

I wasn't arsed about Mcinnes moving to huns. I though it was the right time for a change for AFC and for him. The longer hes here the less arsed i get about him being here or leaving. Lets face it. We all knew how he was going to approach the game yesterday and we all knew that we would we would get beat. It was just a question of how much by. If folk are happy with that then fair enough. Thing is, would he set out the huns to play against Celtic the same way as he sets out his aberdeen side? Would he fuck.

Fan of the idea of trying to get hayes back?

I was, yes - maybe not now though. You'd be getting a player who, by the start of next season, will be 31 and now has one serious injury behind him.

This comment may well come back and bite me if he stays at Celtic or moves to someone else in Scotland, but I don't think he'll be as effective now.
