Agree.

Watching that shite is tantamount to saying you are happy to back the SFA.

Then watching Aberdeen is tantamount to saying you are happy to back Wiggy?

Honestly don't get the "hope we lose" people. I hate that we are shite and it's as frustrating as hell to watch Scotland knowing half the world is probably smirking behind their sleeves (if they're not already guffawing out loud) but I don't get that folk (Scottish) actually want us to lose.  :dontknow:

Regained a bit of respectability with the two wins, albeit both were matches we should be winning. Still a country mile behind the 2 that qualified from our group though. I think Clarke's done reasonably well given the resources he's had to work with but still a long way to go to get back to competing with the big boys. I think the Euro's will be too soon to fully realise where this team is headed under him but we could still sneak in the back door and make up the numbers. Bit ridiculous that its been over 20 years since we qualified for anything but the teams in our way this time don't strike fear into me. A home tie versus Bulgari, Romania or Israel, all much of a muchness. If we get the luck of the draw and have another potential home tie against Norway or Serbia then anything's possible. Away and I think we'll struggle.

It's worrying just how bare that squad is. Obvs Tierney, Robertson and Fraser injured (rested)

Anyone know the answer to these idle questions-

Kenny MacLean - injured?

Tom Cairney - just not good enough or too English?

Chris Martin - too old/English/pish?

Johnny Russell - too shite?

David Bates - shite?

Soutter?

Surely to fuck there are a few other options?

Injured

Too English - also not convinced he'd make much of a difference anyway

Shite

American season is over so think he was spared

Too ginger

Injured

I reckon the English Scots are, largely, not arsed. The likes of Ritchie, Phillips, McBurnie et al.

Playing for the national team is hard. Among other things you'd need to contend with an unfamiliar group of players, lower quality training sessions, an unfamiliar manager and coaching team, club rivalries, long flights for tinpot games, the risk of injury.

The motivation to endure these hardships, irritants and inconveniences can only be a sense of patriotism. It could be difficult to find that motivation if you're not actually Scottish.

Fuck the SFA - masonic cunts can fuck clean off with their sweeping it under the carpet bollocks.

I do my bit by boycotting Scotland matches (not that I had much interest in the first place ;)  and also our Scottish Cup matches, even if we get to a final/semi at Hamdump.

And for the record, I think Stewart Milne is a masonic, complicit cunt too

What? So you’d rather not potentially see us win a cup just to not give the SFA cash?

I doubt your protest is getting noticed at board level.

Fair enough not going to Scotland games.

Where did I say I wouldn't want to see us winning the Scottish cup?

I didn't.

I just try and avoid giving the SFA my cash.

And I don't give a flying fuck if me not going isn't noticed at board level - fucking obviously it won't be

I'm the same, don't get folk bemused by others following Scotland as well as the Dons. Are you nae allowed to support club and country like? Nothing to do with the OF (who a large section of don't even support Scotland funnily enough), the SFA or anything else.

I've currently got zero interest in the national side. Used to go to a lot of the home games and been on a few aways also so I've not always thought that. Strachan sucked the interest out of me.

But find it totally bonkers that anybody would avoid going to watch Aberdeen in a semi final or final so as not to give the SFA £25.

The fact you use the term "old firm says it all"

The fact anyone does is poor.

The old firm died - you'd fit in well at the SFA using that kind of terminology

Watching last night is watching the national team, not the SFA, not the blazers and not the OF.

Alos, what's the hatred for some fans that follow the national team, did one of them shag your mother or something?

What I've witnessed on Scotland games is no different to what AFC fans did in Madrid, Munich, Groningen and Burnley, they went for a piss up in a foreign land and let their hair down resulting in a fair few fucking states, blokes doing bloke stuff essentially.

From experience, I find them generally, not all, but generally a strange bunch.

Having witnessed some of them at first hand, and various antics a "50 something" shouldn't do & generally being completely clueless about football.

I'm all for having a good laugh when going on a foreign jolly for a few days.

Being clueless about football doesn't make you a bad person, there are a few amongst all supports, but I'd say the tranny army have a higher proportion.

My disdain for the SFA will never diminish - corrupt, masonic bastards.

There's a difference between being badly out of love with the national team, and actively wanting them to lose.

There's a difference between thinking the SFA are cunts, and thinking the SFA are cunts to such an extent that you'd allow it to deny you the opportunity to see the Dons play at Hampden and potentially win something.

I know it takes all sorts, but some of the above is just downright bizarre.

This is where I am too, I'll watch us get beaten from the comfort of the pub next time. Had enough of watching them party at our expense.

And this is the fault of our manager and his very own definition of insanity in trying the same old tactics against the Dhims,

And failing.

Time & again.

Get in their fucking faces from minute 1 & don’t get out of their face until you’re walking off the park.

If you lose having a go, folk would be more accepting.

This lying down shite has to stop.

Call Brown a Fife mong, stand on his toes, foul him, wind him up, whatever it takes.
