Scott Brown So Far.

Recommended Posts

Watching him closely in all his games for us so far,one can only see what a true professional he is.The leadership on the park already standing out,his movement and looking ahead for the next pass.Anyone who thought this was just an end of career stint for him is way off. He's definitely all for the club,Celtic no matter how long he was there is the past,he believes in our project, and he celebrates every goal we score with great enthusiasm...Yes He'll most probably return to Celtic one day,in some capacity, maybe as manager, but for the time being as I've stated he's a great pro,and players like Ferguson and the Kids can only improve by watching and learning from him in training and in the games.....Best thing the club has done in years getting him on board.

Crucially, what he’s doing is buying us time.  He’s settled us in, getting the wins.  Last year the hun caught us cold (accept we were relatively unlucky in the game overall), we got horsed out of Europe and then the Covids took over.  Glass isn’t going to get everything right off the bat.  Brown is going to help us put points on the board, hopefully get QRPO minimum and bed in the new system and players.  Agree, the dominant presence and experience we’ve missed.  Ferguson, Mcrorie, Campbell et al can only benefit.  Hopefully the muscle that Mcgeouch clearly needs alongside him also.

Well glad to see I was wrong as he has been very good so far and hasn’t looked off the pace or like he has been struggling. Clearly takes good care of himself physically. I thought last night his passing was excellent.

Really hope this continues but still feel it will be a bit of a circus when we play celtgers.

Circus or not, I'd still much rather have him in the midfield at Ibrox than not.

Never doubted he’d bring that calmness and steel to the middle of the park.

Others need to trust he’ll win the ball and move for the obvious pass when he wins it.A couple of times last night it looked like he’d needlessly given the ball away, when it was the right ball, but the player hadn’t anticipated him winning the tackle.
