The Boofon
Fantastic result and performance, a McInnes tactical masterclass today. Only negative is the further regression of Shay Logan. Has he got another season after this? Really need to look at a replacement. You had a word about his filandering yet? Link to comment
maryhilldon
Leigh was my MOTM. First game this season, so I obviously made the difference. COYR Link to comment

Sheeptastic
Thought Leigh was the best on the pitch, closely followed by Vyner. Both winning the ball and showing the composure/skill to drive forward or play a pass. Gallagher also did well but only con was he doesn’t seem confident to take a man on when it’s 1 v 1. RUL
Doesn't answer the questionI think he can play a forward pass ... I am not sure he could offer the physical element Leigh did though Link to comment
Clydeside_Sheep
Hilarious McInnes quote in the interview afterwards: "Christ, we'd have took this before the game, 3 nothing at motherwell". You and me both derek. Surprising but very welcome result. 3 great goals (inc big sam, as usual) plus great performances from leigh and vyner in particular. Dont forget the penatly save either. All very pleasing. Link to comment

aberdeen1970
McInnes is certainly fond of turning left backs into central midfielders. Interesting that Hedges was on the bench and McGinn and Wilson were favoured to start. Link to comment

Ke1t
I just want to say that Cosgrove's goal was fucking brilliant. I thought he was going to be some shitty lummox we just lumped high balls at in perpetuity, and to be fair that seems to be how McInnes' sees his role. But that turn, accelerating away from the defender, and the composed chip over the keeper was as top quality a goal as I've seen from Aberdeen in years. Kudos to tall Matt Damon. 1 Link to comment
V for Vendetta
Good result and sounds like an even better performance today. Credit to the lads and management/coaching staff for that performance. Really does make you wonder though, why have we been fannying about for months like we're Hamilton or some other absolute talentless shite. Hopeless management imo. Link to comment

alscotoz
What happened over the international break? Something must've clicked in McInnes head that what was being produced on the park A) wasn't working and B) was unattractive and gutless at the same time. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a turnaround. Employing the usual tactics against the tims next game will mean all is back to square one. Encouraging win. Link to comment
