  1. Yeah I agree, I don't see a part in that paragraph where I said anything about it being not right? I said that's our reality? Not sure what the point your making here is
  2. Well we can't have it both ways, complain about the product on the pitch and that we need a new stadium. That's why I said at least half, put the rest towards the stadium if they wish. The point is we have expectations when it comes to results. New stadium is years and years off by the time its funded and built and if we don't invest in the squad properly the teams around us will leave us in the distance. Hearts and Hibs being the main two. Hibs have a new investor on board and could be ready to put a fair wedge in any day. Hearts have European group stages and will be looking to improve again on last season, I can see them putting their hands in their pocket. I'm wary of us remaining stationery whilst other teams move on, and when we take in big amounts of money it has to be utilised.
  3. Can't help but laugh, he's fucking shite what makes him think we want him to stay.
  4. Bojan is worth 10mil easy, unfortunately we will end up with 7m most likely. If he played in a rangers or celtic shirt they would probably get double that for him, sad reality the lack of market power we hold. The money has to be reinvested mostly in the playing squad. The quality of player we buy needs to be stepped up and for that you need to spend money. I'm not suggesting we do a sevco and leave ourselves on the brink of liquidation but if we have a big income for a player it needs to be sensibly reinvested. Bojan was a bargain really at 500k or whatever it was, might get lucky again with players costing similar, but talent at that price is hard to find. We have the added possibility of a couple million for Ferguson and anybody else who may during the transfer window. 10m in the bank there's no excuse for not spending at least half of that on quality players. Anyway, will be sad to see him go but he will leave with best wishes from all at AFC I'm sure.
  5. Mon Jimmy get over here, but change your hairstyle first I can't stand that bloody combover.
  6. Oh I'm not looking forward to this. Many beers will need to be consumed very early in the day. I want to be completely Pie eyed by the time this game kicks off.
  7. Wish we could just get going with this so Data Dave has a distraction, stop him interfering with on the pitch matters. He can micro manage the workers instead. Seriously though, this is just another example of the shit show that is going on in the background. I understand that there is a lot involved, however this has been going on for how many years now?
  8. I think we've digressed a bit anyway. My point was just that all the factors I pointed out are what I think is contributing to the poor attendance, I do think a later kick off would see a few thousand more turning up though. Personally I couldn't remember poorer attendances, but absolutely I could be wrong. I'm prepared to shake hands and move on.
  9. Jesus Christ are we really going 24 years back to make a point. In modern times lets say then. Defo not 9k against Rangers either, although it wouldn't be far away.
  10. To be fair I'm not sure I have ever went to Hampden thinking we'll win (Morton and maybe a game against hibs aside) but numbers were never as poor as this. As I said well done to those going as I'm not personally. I'm not one of these people who will slag off the poor support anyway, but the reasons I have highlighted are my thoughts.
  11. Numbers are poor for obvious reasons. KO Time, 3 hour drive, Utterly awful performances, Financially draining. Well done to those going. In terms of the game, think we'll do alright. huff and puff, give it our all, but Celtic will just have too much for us at the end of the day. Hope Thelin is watching on and taking notes.
  12. Bojan Mivoski - For obvious reasons Duk - Might come good again Angus Mcdonald - Decent even as cover Rubezic - Needs another season McGrath - Been one of ouor best players this season, Not hard though Clarkson - Might come good again Polvara - Young and came on leaps and bounds since joining Sokler? - Needs a proper go at it (Might get pelters for this one, but under correct management could be a player) Besuijen That's it for me really.
  13. 9k that must be our lowest at Hampden in donkeys. Don't blame folk, 12:30 is utter horseshit not to mention the other horseshit produced on the pitch this season. Depressing as fuck. Can't see me looking forward to football again until after the league cup group stages.
  14. Great news, however I wouldn't be a dons fan if I didn't have something to moan about. Why is he starting in summer, he needs to be working with the players and deciding who he wants for next year and learning about the Sottish game and how teams play. Welcome aboard though Jimmy, full backing.
