Couldn't find another suitable thread for this but got it forwarded to me from someone in the office.

Some of you others may have heard the same rumours??

Apparently after the training ground announcement and opening it will be announced that Stewart is standing down and HE is taking over as chairman a but if a wobble as he said if he didn’t get the chairmanship he was taking away his money ....

Apparently three or four other board members going to .... skinner / buchan and jack ... I’m told but no confirmation that the places will be filled by Americans ....

Heard that Duncan and Derek will be told they are on a shoggly peg apperantly Duncan already put out feelers for ‘other’ jobs and is trying hard for an sfa position ... Derek won’t stay long as he won’t have the free range or position that Stewart have him he will be confined to TEAM matters only future transfers and stuff like that goes to the board Derek only responsible to suggest who he would want ??? So DM certainly won’t like that but he has the security of a 2 year contract....

Anna has already gone and is working on garden leave...

I’m thinking that Tom might get the CEO position if They get rid of Duncan ... Rod is Cormack’s inside yes man .....

Lots of changes ahead .....

All of the above could be bull, but no smoke without fire...

Had heard Cormack threatened to pull the funding for the training ground if it wasn't named after him.  Do like the other rumours though, be VERY interesting to see what happens.

Some folk on here get themselves in a state over anything

Good that it's finally here. Its been a massive handicap over the years. McInnes can hopefully turn it around with the help of it, it's clear he's not going anywhere so got to hope he can.

Aye, agreed

Happy to back him even though I have my doubts

What absolute drivel gets spouted on here. Fergie was the worst public speaker of the lot of them but not that it matters towards anything whatsoever.

Absolutely no major board room changes coming any time soon either.

Can folk not just be grateful for the hard work that has gone on in the background to build the training centre than coming straight on a slating Milne for the way he speaks publicly and wanting him to stand down as chairman, such sad lives some people have that this is the first thing they want to do after watching the opening.

It would need to be all ticket, especially for bigger games

Wouldn’t mind paying an extra few quid to get in to be honest, helps club cover costs

Just wait until folk are moaning about paying £6 a pint

Might be what Celtic do.

They have a massive bar going along the north stand - or at least a series of bars along one long corridor. It's £95 per match and gets you a padded seat, programme, half-time pies and access to the bar before and after the game plus half-time. You can also just sit and watch the game in there if the weather is bad.

They do the exact same behind one of the two stands behind the goal, which is £85 a ticket.

It's basically an informal corporate hospitality and much cheaper than normal corporate, but also makes the club a ton of money by fans willing to pay a bit extra then spend hours drinking in the bars.

Aberdeen could essentially do the same. How many would a bar like that hold - 1,000? 1,500? Charge even £75 a ticket and give them a premium seat, and make even more money off the drink sales. Some decent coinage to make there.

Fergie's been ill, isn't getting any younger and still came across far better than Cormack or the embarrassment Milne.

Yeh. Your second sentence being a prime example.

Seems a bit wild to be putting the person responsible for the best performing non-football dept on gardening leave.

Dented pride(knocked back)?
