Cammy Smith is probably the most skillful player at Pittodrie.  No room for that kind of thing in a McInnes team.

Cammy Smith may well be skillful, but he shows no sign of coming on and staking a claim for a regular spot.
Pawlett has been indifferent of late and Smith hasn't even looked like ousting him.

The Northern Lights of old Aberdeen

Mean home sweet home to me

The Northern Lights of Aberdeen

Are what I long to see

I've been a wanderer all of my life

And many a sight I've seen

God speed the day when l'm on my way

To my home in Aberdeen!!

Keep it up Aberdeen, if only you had done that when you went to Hamilton, much better attitude last night
Your supporters got their moneys worth. Hope you get Rangers in the Semi Final and thrash them.

i didnt say it was?

Read your post wrong then.

When you said having that dig about him is a great thing I mistook that for you thinking I'd taken a pop at him.

My error.

No harm done.

Cammy Smith has never been the same since his namesake passed away.

I'm nae so sure there wasn't a body switch prior to the passing of Aberdeen's greatest fan.

If anyone needs a spell on the sidelines its McGinn. Been awful for weeks now.

Low and Smith always just come on and run around for half an hour.

Never seen either take the game by the scruff of the neck and change it for us once once they've come on.

Smith gets more leeway because he's only 19, but Low is almost 23 now and I'm surprised he got an extra year tbh.

Ryan Jack is younger than Nicky Low. Crazy that he got an extension on to this season.

I find it crazy that people slaughter players on here.
We have good youngsters coming through, & take issue with their performance after getting a few minutes on the pitch.
It's the bigger picture that matters, and even picking holes in first team regulars after few matches, it's a team effort and our players are the envy of most of the teams in league.
I maybe looking through rose tinted glasses, but I'm proud of the team, only thing ask is for them to give a 100%, and from that, see how we go from there

its not a problem with low being similar

low's a better footballer, so having that dig about him is a great thing

low's development will be shunted by playing second fiddle to flood as he currently does

id agree re cammy smith, worried about him as he's done nothing, although admittedly doesnt get much game time

when we're talking pawlett off, smith should be first on

You're speaking a bit more sense these days.

I agree with this apart from the criticism of Flood.

A player like that is absolutely vital, I cannot emphasise highly enough his value to the team.

It's not about the odd misplaced pass. He offers amazing hard work and tenacity.

Billy Bremner was a very similar player and was lauded for it.

Flood is a major part of our success in my opinion.

he most certainly is. Doesn't mean he's free from criticism though.

I'm not saying he is.

However, remove him from the team, and the effect is huge. He is the classic water carrier, and is expert in the role.

But when all is said and done, the hit they've taken in calendar sales can be mostly attributed to him.

aye?

when did he last show that?

hes doing himself no favours with the chances he does get

10 minutes here and there isn't being given a chance.

McInnes wants power runners and target men, Smith is neither.

Not surprised you can't tell the difference though.
