A Player In There Somewhere.

Harsh reality was both Magennis and Storey weren't good enough.

Agree with the shouts for Goodwillie, Touzani, Pawlett, McArdle, and Ricky Gillies.

I'd add Belabed, Stevie Crawford, Lovell, Mark Kerr (was good in his first season), Ben Thornley, Steven Maclean, Nick Blackman and Fabian Caballero.

I'm tempted to say Paul Hartley, YOANN FOLLY, Rob Milsom, Iaasc Osbourne, and Alan Maybury could be added too.

Fabian Caballero never played for us but was a top player.

Paton.

Think he played as a striker at youth level, was put out on the wing when he played in the first team. Labelled as a winger forevermore, but not quick enough or skillful enough to cut it. Had be been given a chance as a centre-forward things may have been different.

Scores 4 goals then moves to a new club.

Got lots of assists for DAFC last season apparently.

There was one game in particular against Rangers (RIP) where Paton was excellent. I'm sure Lee Miller scored in a 1-0 win(?) but Paton was outstanding.

Not hated, accurately judged by expats who see more of the Dons than baldy little trolls who inhabit the inbred backwoods of darkest Scotland and refer to substandard carthorses as 'the main man', was what you were reaching for there, little fella.

We knew what you meant, though... :checkit:

Get off that Fence min and tell him what you REALLY think...

Looking back at the teams you have to wonder how in fuck we won that game

Was that one Lafferty's first visit to Pittodrie since his dive, when he couldn't cope with all the abuse he was getting, had a shocking first half and didn't come back out for the second? And Nacho Novo mooned?

Aye spot on. We'd already played them at Ibrox earlier on in the season (0-0) but aye, his first trip to Pittodrie since the infamous dive the season before 08/09.
