ddia
It''s as easy to source white (or red if the inclination requires) exterior building materials as it is to purchase grey. Therefore, it's unlikely the finished article will be anything other than the colour it is at present. Disappointing. Link to comment
Yorston Vasey
Presumably part of the planning consent that it is as neutral as possible so as to minimise impact on surroundings (ie WANK types sitting out in their gardens) Link to comment
ddia
Quite possibly correct re: planning consent. But it'll be dwarfed behind a great big stadium which, as per much flaunted pre-build images, is also destined to be red and white. The training pavilion won't be given a second glance thereafter. Chewie37
White with a nuance of red? Red with a tasteful white outline? Grey's not appealing for a new build sports pavilion. It was red and white in the much flaunted pre-build images.White with a “nuance of red”? You mean pink? Link to comment

RUL
Cormack said they didn't put it in the first plans as it's far easier to get approval once there is a facility in place but if they had added it to the original plan it would have caused even more hassle getting it approved. Link to comment

Mr Milne and his cohorts wouldn't have all those diggers and other assorted excavation equipment running about digging holes and groundwork preparation on the stadium part of the site if it wasn't going ahead. He's not a man to waste money on anything other than a certainty when it comes to building Link to comment

It looks quite close to completion now, all the fencing and floodlights are now erected. Link to comment

And now that it is heading towards the finish line, the house next to the dual carriageway looks increasingly out of place. For some reason I assumed the inhabitants of said dwelling would be old and probably not have sold up as possibly the house had been handed down, not interested in any financial gain and not wanting to be bothered with upheaval. But...on more than a few occasions I've seen the owner getting in to her car, wandering about in garden, etc. She's young and pretty with long blonde hair. Not the stereotype I'd imagined. ddia
^ Quite possible. I visualise a balcony at the back of her house where she can watch the nubile young men training. Scantily clad, inserting a large athletic coloured rabbit into her moist vagina while it simultaneously caresses a willing and twitching anus in a circular fashion. 2 Link to comment
