Fuck's sake Cheeser, I'd forgotten all about Tipsy Cake.
Brings me back to when I was a young Loon.
My Old Boy drove a Sunblest van and during the holidays, I used to go with him as he did his round out Fyvie way.
Trays full of custards slices, doughnuts, cream buns and assorted cakes but the topper out of them all was the Tipsy Cake.
I must have eaten a fair chunk of Sunblest's profits during my Summer holidays.
Tipsy, for me although a nod to an Eggy Custard too

We have a special bond now Dom. Tipsy bond. Basically you can call me anytime day or night and I'm right there for you.

You can pump my missus any time you want, bear in mind she's had 4 kids so if you expect any sort of reaction you better be packing 10 inches of thick meat otherwise she will make you feel like a worthless peice of pathetic shit that can't ejaculate without pharmaceutical aid.

What the fuck is an Empire Biscuit?

Sugared doughring for me - or those miniature ones with the cinnamon on.  Happy enough with a two-day old rowie heated up with butter and jam though.

How about a couple of digestives with a bit butter and a mug of tea.

Otherwise, i’m up for the scone or a bit millionaires shortbread.

I just call it shortbread.

If you scrape off the chocolate and fudgey goodness - fair enough.

I do miss the bakery selection from back home. Over here everything is a bit weird.  You can get a chicken pie, however, it will have a sweet sugary topping which is just nae right.  For sweet bakery goods,  I would go for the Portuguese tart or the cream-filled cornet.

There’s a place in Govan that does a lovely cream bun. Just off paisley rd west .

The Wee Bakers on paisley road west is excellent.
