Me and a mate have put together a blog focused on solely Aberdeen because we felt there wasn't much out there on the Dons. Could be wrong but thought we would give it a go.

Here is our first post reviewing Thursday's game. (https://statsandminiskirts.wordpress.com/2015/07/19/hnk-rijeka-0-3-aberdeen-5-key-decisions/)

Anyways give us your thoughts and feel free to leave a comment on the page. The format is a work in progress - apologies. Suggestions for future topics welcome.

Mods move/delete/whatever if need be!

I'm seeing plenty of stats, but there is a huge shortage of miniskirts on display.

I do not want us to go down the defending our lead road

If we lose a goal then it gives them great confidence

Lets fucking go for it but within reason

good read btw

I think this is what we'll do. Change in shape and some different personnel will buy us time as they try to figure us out. If we can get a goal within that time then we're in a very strong position.

I'd like to see us put pressure on them right from the start and try and get an early goal. If we score early then it's pretty much game, set, match. What we can't afford to do is just sit back and let them come at us from the start, we'll likely lose an early goal and then it's going to be backs against the wall for the rest of the game.

I'll go with (Craig) and have a very similar line up to last week though. That team had the pace to rip the croats apart on the break. They will be pressing for goals, so we need quick players like Pawlett to counter.

Whether there are miniskirts or not, both blogs are a decent read on the whole. I would be happy with either formation on Thursday. Del surprised most of us last week so maybe he'll try something completely different!

How about a piece on new signings and/or potential signings?

Keep up the good work lads.

Thanks. Noted.

Thought about doing a poll amongst Aberdeen fans of Del's best signings as Aberdeen manager and posting an article featuring a review of the top five around the transfer deadline. Keep the ideas coming.

The fact we didn't just try to defend a 1,2, or even a 3 goal lead over there hopefully means we'll do exactly the same at home.

Fair enough to set up defensively as long as we utilise our pace again & keep hitting them on the counter to prevent them fully camping out in our half.

We will score again tomorrow I think. We just have to make sure we stop them scoring 4.

Hopefully we keep them out for a good while cos an early goal for them could give them a good wee lift & see us trying to sit in more.

IMO that's got to be between Rooney & Logan so far.

No doubt Shinnie, McLean, Taylor, Quinn, Ward etc. can turn out to be just as good in the long term but he has certainly signed far more good signings than duds now.

Good read again, although Taylor was probably deserving of singling out as well.

Will you be doing a preview of the Almaty game?

Yeah, it's tough when there were quite a few who were worthy of a mention.

Thought it would be interesting to do something similar to the programme by writing about the club/history etc but no idea where you would find that information.
