Cosgrove couldn't argue with being dropped. That was a genuinely embarrassing performance. Even felt sorry for him at one point.

If you felt sorry for Cosgrove, how sorry did you feel for Main?

Worth chucking Ojo and Bryson in to get some minutes in them?

The Northern Lights of old Aberdeen

Mean home sweet home to me

The Northern Lights of Aberdeen

Are what I long to see

I've been a wanderer all of my life

And many a sight I've seen

God speed the day when l'm on my way

To my home in Aberdeen!!

The first team squad are getting Saturday off according to DM interview.

So i'd be surprised if any more than Virtanen, Anderson etc are at Keith

Red hot.
Luckily there was an outside tap on the side of the wall in the away end to cool down with.

I think he might start the same XI in Tbilisi.

All the options to change the defence and midfield involve injury doubts and/or players who would be making their first start for the club.   For all Taylor is being slated - still not the worst backup to have for the ever injury-prone looking Devlin.

As for Sam.........2 goals in 2 games - if he keeps positioning himself on the end of those crosses, the chances will go in.............there are 21 reasons from last season to believe that.

Ever onwards. That was a bit stressful in Finland so Dons will be looking for a more assured performance. Temps expected 30-35 so its not a game for running. Dons to sit in.

Doubtful: Bryson, Devlin & Leigh
Bookings: Cosgrove, Campbell, Logan

Lewis

Logan Devlin McKenna Considine

Ferguson Ojo

McGinn Bryson Hedges

Cosgrove

subs: Cerny, Leigh, Campbell, Main, McLennan, Wilson, Gallagher
others: Taylor, May, Wright, Virtanen, Anderson, E. Ross, S. Ross

Cosgrove and Main are both awful, surely Wilson will start?

Aye, there are reasons to be cheerful...1, 2, hopefully number 3 (in Tbilisi on Thursday) for big Sam Cosgrove. 2 goals is better than none, after 2 games.

I doubt it will be the same 11. Funso will definitely come in and possibly Bryson. Maybe even Leigh.

Nah he'll definitely start one of Ojo/Bryson and my guess would be he chucks them both in

Don't think McInnes has ever used 'first team' players in matches at Highland League grounds?

Should've had about 6 over the 2 legs, 2 sitters last night and he couldn't even get them on target. A decent striker would've had the tie won last week. He's shite.

We will concede. We always do.  2-1 wouldn't be a bad result. 3-1 should be enough to get us through.

Was about to query the apparent or otherwise, standard of out opponents.

That's a very middling league record.

Though they did beat Fola Esch home and away, as opposed to our struggle with an apparently better Dons XI.

Fuck knows.

For what it’s worth: Georgia are 47th out of 55 uefa coefficient (Finland was 38th.) Could argue it’s an easier tie on paper going by a quick glance at their squad on Wikipedia vs RoPS’, though obviously the 2000 mile journey and sweltering heat will be a leveller in the first leg

A draw at worst and we’ll see it out at Pittodrie

The draw for the third round is on Monday, some outstanding beer trips on offer

We’ll probably get fucking Wolves
