Hoping this get's accepted to post as it's a topic very close to my heart and this is the only way I could reach out to a large amount of people.

 

I am searching for my dad, I've never met him but I have been given some information that I wanted to share with you all incase you new anything. Please see details below, if you know ANYTHING that could help me I would be forever grateful.

 

Name: Sav [surname unknown]

Location: Aberdeen

Dates: 1990/1991 [i was conceived around Nov/Dec of 1990]

Work: He was the Store Manager for What Everyone Wants Aberdeen

 

As I said, if you know anything please let me know. I've been searching for 15 years.

it might be a long shot Emma but have you tried "Ancestry DNA" ?

 

I got my wife a kit for Xmas cause I couldn't think of anything else !

 

It can actually put you in touch with living relatives that may have also taken the DNA test with them and if not

will keep your details on file ( with your permission) to cross match you with anyone in the future who tries it and put

you in touch.

 

It wasn't that costly and you could well recoup the cost in all the back pocket money you have coming
