I wasn't disputing the fact we'll be hiring buses.

However, there is absolutely no chance we're renting 42 buses every matchday min.

Maybe not, but the club are claiming they will be hiring 42 buses for "non old-firm games", and 74 for old firm games.

In one of the very early responses from central coaches in the stadium application, they actually said Aberdeen would need 130 buses to make the transport strategy work.

There are responses from bus companies in the application where they say they would need to buy extra buses to meet the demand, but would only do so if Aberdeen paid for them as otherwise it wouldn't be commercially viable to them.

The council/government to this point have offered Aberdeen zero help and haven't offered to provide a penny towards the stadium. We all know a train station, subway, tram or monorail is out of the question. What they could do though is help supplement some extra buses.

Is there a bus depot in the Kingsford plans, we need a big shed for all these buses. Maybe that's why there isn't an indoor pitch

Apparently the site has enough room for 47 shuttle buses to be parked waiting for fans after a game, plus an additional holding area.

All this goes to show what an absolute abortion of a location it is.

For people to say there will be no shuttle buses is laughable. Of course there will be due to the lack of on and off site parking and lack of current public transport.

The logistics was/is a major problem and the club did its best to smooth this over by adding in the shuttle bus scenario in its Transport Strategy to prove it could (just about) be done. Now people say there won't be shuttle buses and it'll be fine.

Get Phase 1 built (finally proper training facilities) but ffs lets have a proper think re the stadium.

Don't let the idea of the WANKS and a shiny new ground detract us from the reality.

Don't know whether to laugh or cry. And aye, imagine the cost to the club renting these buses and drivers every game, 'laid on'.

Basically, this.

Stagecoach said they could add an extra 10 an hour to one straight line from Union Street.

This is where the direct shuttles from quite literally a handful of locations comes in. No going to the game when you want from where you want.

This is fundamentally why I think it's shite.

The strange corner at the Mainer beside the tunnel with the glass squares would make an adequate green house.

What's actually in there? Remember plenty hun filth being taken in there in the 80's and 90's so assumed it was a holding cell of some sort.

Used to be the kit washing room. Teddy Scott fingered me in there,

I met Eric Deloumeaux in there once.
