But then what is the problem.

If he signed a contract on the premise that if someone comes in with 5 million or whatever , then if someone comes in with 5 million fair enough.

He is contracted to the club and there may be a clause but he needs to shut the fuck up and get on with his job for the time being.

Correctamundo Fridgio.

I've no doubt he was given some sort of assurance, written or otherwise, that if we received an acceptable bid(s) then he would be allowed to speak to the club(s) concerned.

But signing his contract extension is a 2-way agreement. There's no doubt that the  2 extensions he signed in a matter of 6 months or so bumped him up from being one of the lowest paid first team squad members to one of the highest. As it rightly should have done with him being a Scotland cap (and now a first pick cap). Putting in the transfer request a year down the line was disrespectful to the club although I've no doubt his agent was agitating behind the scenes for him to do it. Is McKenna naïve or just plain thick?

Right now I can't see us getting a higher offer than the Villa one, albeit they wanted him essentially on a 6 month free trial initially. His form hasn't been terrible but he's not at the level he was at a year ago for sure. But there's no doubt his heart isn't in it any more. I expect QPR to come back with an offer in January. If we can get them to £4millon plus a decent sell-on fee then I think it would be in everyone's interest to let him go. But for the time being have him told to shut the fuck up and concentrate on playing.

One of reekie_docks work colleagues told us in good faith, that he’s trying to engineer a move away because of McDogshit. His antics are to be commended here.

By playing absolutely shite every week ? Seems a bizarre way to go about it. Could he not have a decent game and then he would actually have interest from other clubs ?

He's on the wind-up.  It's a long standing 'joke' on here, within the PG's, that @reekie_dock is privy to insider information regarding the goings on at Pittodrie - because he works with Scotty Severin.

It isn't a joke. He does work with him.

I was under the impression that the 'joke' was more based around Reekie receiving actual intel from Seve?  These days Seve will know nothing about what's going on at Aberdeen.  He's been gone for years and has had nothing to do with the club.

We'll still get a couple of million for him.

Celtic paid around that for Greg Taylor who is about the same age.

He's now mixing and listening to the big earners he is not focused 100 percent on his commitment to Aberdeen he's got one eye on the English league and only one eye on the ball when playing for the Dons quicker he goes the better. Then it will be Ferguson and devlin next wanting away and the merry go round will go on and on.

I thot last season mckenna was focussed and had his eye on the ball but now his mind is elsewhere.
Ferguson is playing well and getting better by the game, hopefully he stays focussed and would definitely get a move down to the EPL.

McKenna is definitely dropping well below expectations now.

Our chance to make big money was based on making the most of the potential there and the more games he plays the more everyone can see he might not have the smarts to reach it.

Do we like McKenna or not? I can’t remember, it's been a while.

Get him out in January , anything over 2 million with sell on just take it. Admit we screwed up not taking best offer last summer whatever it was. Move on and roll out Ash.

McKenna is nowhere near as good as he or his agent think he is.
When the ball is lumped into the air with regularity or he’s playing against a big bruiser he does well.
Put the ball on the ground and is relatively poor, decision making is weak, and he’s even worse when people are running at him, he doesn’t have a clue what to do and just backs off.
Scottish game suits him. He’s not technical enough to go anywhere near the level he is targeting.
Celtic is as good as he’ll ever get regularly.

I fear this may be correct. He's certainly far too easy to play 'around' - quick, clever forwards with good movement make him look distinctly ordinary.

One of many reasons why Celtic always give us such a torrid time.

I think he struggles against the big cunts. We should have cashed in when we had the chance but it's not too late. Could still fetch a few million which is a good return for an academy player.

Fancy him to do alright in the championship too.

He's not good enough for the Dhims first X1.

Both Julien & Ajer are superior in all ways.

His level, at best, is a decent Championship team.

Maybe a Derby or the likes.

As much as I'm in favour of cashing in asap, the thought of perming two from three of Devlin, Taylor & Considine gives me the fear.

Maybe Tommie Hoban might get a 5 month January to May contract.

Not sure of his fitness levels, or how close he is to trying to play again.

Hoban & Considine as the preferred partnership maybe?

I could see that as a possibility - and he'd be free, so all the transfer fee we do get goes towards making us Westhill Wanderers FC in the arse end of nowhere.

Ideal for the grippy wee Masonic cunt that masquerades as Chairman

What he got by with in enthusiasm is no longer good enough. He looks the part physically but I honsetly don't think he has the brains or awareness to make it in England. He's not a natural football player imo

We should really cash in on him.

Ach I dunno Hans - a big lump he is atm no doubt; but with the learning that comes with moving up the ladder, it gives him a real shot at turning the few bits of magc he has, into a full David Copperfield affair.
