  1. Same. I think he would have helped Ruby settle in quicker as well if those 2 had been our CB pairing all season rather than sticking with the back 3 like we did for so long
  2. Shinnie doesn't have the discipline nor the technical ability to play as a holding midfielder
  3. Agreed. Wouldn’t lose any sleep about anyone other than Miovski and McGrath going. You could possibly make an argument for keeping Duk if Thelin can get him interested again, but he’s probably away anyway.
  4. I'm starting to think after County's last 2 results that they're more likely to survive than St Johnstone. Just hope we can scrape together enough points to stay clear of that fight.
  5. More like they've finally realised appointing a cheap youth coach isn't the way. Sacking shite managers isn't the problem. Appointing them in the first place is.
  6. Beat St Johnstone and Livi at home and we’ll be safe
  7. Welcome Jimmy. You just have to be competent at your job to be our best manager in about a decade. Dare I say kudos to the board for not buckling and settling for an Lennon / Ross type plan b
  8. The balance in our midfield is shocking. You often see Clarkson and Barron both dropping back in line with the back 4 to take the ball then turning and obviously have nobody ahead of them to pass to as that's where they should be. Shinnie, Clarkson and Barron all spend the game running around like headless chickens when we don't have the ball too leaving huge gaps in the middle of pitch all the time.
  9. I did say he "tried" to play better football, not necessarily succeeding in doing so though. That's more on the confidence / quality of the players we have though which isn't really down to Leven As above - the players don't seem capable of playing great football, but that's on the board and Robson not on Leven.
  10. To me he at least seems to be the best of a really bad bunch we've had this season. Tries to play a better style of football rather than lumping it up the park all the time, the defence seems a bit tighter and he talks quite honestly in the press conferences without throwing boring cliches and phrases around at every opportunity. Averaging 1.50 points per match in charge so easily the best manager we've had all season.
  11. Edit - he’s the youth manager. Bring back Robson
  12. We were in for Kerr in January, so I’d be surprised if we don’t try again in summer. Kelly is no better than Roos. No thanks
  13. Actually forgot Shinnie was sent off, so irate I was with Duncan’s cameo. Getting a second yellow for a clear bookable offence after getting his first yellow for a clear bookable offence should be something he’s punished by the club for. Complete stupidity, and as captain he should know better (we know he doesn’t by now)
  14. Couldn’t even control simple passes to him. Needs a loan for sure, but he’s never gonna be good enough for AFC
