Excellent start by the boys today after a ropey opening, Malan with his first test ton was great to see, hopefully we can kick on from here and get a much needed one although it wouldn't be a surprise if it finishes a draw.

My pal is going along tomorrow to this.

I don't think I could sit through it and enjoy, too fucking slow for me and takes ages for something to happen.

GTF England however. Mon the Aussies.

Got draw all over this.

Australia to declare at lunch and have 4 sessions to skittle out the english to win the ashes after 3 tests. The english will be as defensive as fuck trying not to get bowled out.

Could make for a cracking 5th day if it gets there but given I've predicted a draw england will likely get bowled out by close of play today.

They will be given the nod to swing the bat after lunch for the first hour to try and get above 700.

Weather out here is a bit dodgy at the moment.... overcast right now and forecast of rain for the rest of today and tomorrow.

Nope. God, Allah, Buddha and the Wizard Of fucking Oz together couldn't save that outfit. 4 utter humpings and a draw. At least they weren't outplayed though. :hysterical:

England currently 8/5 against Australia in the 1 day international.

:hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical:

EDIT: That's 8 runs for 5 wickets not their odds to win.

Care, we were 3-0 up in the ODIs so doesn't matter.

Was always going to be a big crowd, given it was the opening event for the new stadium.

Crowd was announced at 54K... capacity apparently 60K.  General admission was sold-out- plenty of empty seats in the members area though!

Fucking amazing stadium. View from the bar, on the top deck of the stadium, where we went for a few beers at the innings break (facilities just jaw dropping):

Gutted England won the first match there though... hard to take.  4-1 is an absolute battering.  Complete role reversal following the test series.  Can't stand Tom Curran... the new Stuart Broad.

Our ODI side is potentially unstoppable, Ali and Morgan slight issues but over all there's so many weapons in that side.

Yeah shame for them..... I see their Aberdonian captain was fairly outspoken after the match!

On england, don’t understand how the test team can be so poor, when the limited overs guys are so good!

See the ockers have been caught cheating

Steve Smith is going to have to resign because of this.  Very damaging for someone, who many think was destined to become one of the greats.  What was he thinking?

No idea who'll take over.  Surely David Warner wont get the job?  Can't see cricket australia giving the top job to someone with his temperament.

Outrageous.

That catch that went for six as he touched the boundary was so unlucky. Then to fluke another four off a bat deflection. Unreal.

Fair play to that Stokes cunt as well. Some game he had.

Pish way to decide it though. Should have been another Super Over IMO.
