Anderson must be due a few minutes on the park for the first team. That's all he's going to get with McInnes only tactic of 1 up top.

A boy I work with, his son knows Anderson and he says that he's away at the end of his contract, the boy wants to play football and it doesn't look like he'll get it at Pittodrie.

I don't know if this boy is good, bad or indifferent, maybe we should loan him out to a SPFL team to see how he gets on.

Aberdeen Under 18s 3 Celtic Under 18s 2

Under 18s captain Connor Barron celebrated his 17th birthday, albeit a day late, with a hat-trick of penalty conversions, each dispatched with clinical efficiency, as the young Dons saw off a determined Celtic side at The Balmoral Stadium.

Difficult night for them, and not many pass marks. Connor Barron being easily our best player before tiring in the second half. Will give him full credit though as he was constantly on the move looking for the ball and trying to take the game to them. Jack McKenzie solid, and Kevin Hanratty is an exceptional young player.

Most others ran about a bit
