  1. Feeling a bit less nervous about things after seeing those fixtures. Was fully expecting Ross County away first up but they've been quite kind to us.
  2. Should be absolutely no way we end up in a play-off scrap with those fixtures.

  4. One thing I have learned about body language among football managers is that interchangeably picking your nose and ear in post match interviews means you're severely under pressure because your brand of football is incessantly terrible.
  5. I seem to recall it being Stuart Kettlewell that first made that point. And if they haven't managed to get their drainage sorted (there will likely have been ways they could have) leading to multiple call offs and have assembled a squad with a bigger budget than they typically would it's a pretty sound point to make. Anyway, I would guess they'll be ordered to make the necessary adjustments in the summer and it'll eat into their budget. I'd probably be making bids for the likes of McCowan.
  6. Going to go out on a limb and assume laying down some grass and ensuring the right drainage is in place are slightly different issues. I've seen some fans suggest they tried on the drainage front but encountered problems with getting the relevant permissions but either way there are serious question marks around the club on that front.
  7. Think they used eight loanees in total between starters and subs yesterday (could be wrong but heard it on the radio) and they have 11 loans in the squad. That will definitely affect their summer transfer window. They've invested in their squad this season (at the cost of their pitch) and for what? A top six finish. I think it could come back to haunt them.
  8. They may as well enjoy it while it lasts given there's a helluva good chance they will struggle next season. Announced big losses, will need to invest in their pitch and have a team that is essentially outsourced with a fair amount of starters loan players. Add to that the fact that you'd expect to see some interest in McCowan and Cameron then you could argue Doc's facing as big a summer rebuild as anyone this summer and likely on limited resources.
  9. Can't see them winning that amount given they have four points from their last six games (providing the result stays as is today). I make us one win from safety.
  10. It's the season after next that Killie plan to have a grass pitch for.
  11. Credit where it's due for Doc leading Dundee into the top six but alarm bells would be ringing for me. That pitch is inevitably going to need money spent on it in the summer (quite possibly at the instruction of governing bodies) which will eat into their budget. Combine that with the fact they apparently have 11 loan players on the books (eight starting today I believe) and announced 2.8m in losses recently. They could easily be looking at a relegation battle next season. Might be wise for Doc to angle a move while his stock is high.
  12. Dreadful second half. Only consolation is gap between us and Ross County is now eight points - wouldn't put it past them getting a result tomorrow though.
  13. Tbf Tom English seemed to think it was a good appointment, just obviously hadn't looked into how long he'd been managing.
