  1. This NI team are pretty dire, and it'll be years before they have another crop of players that he could do anything with. Maybe he'd prefer a club job, where he is more involved day-to-day? He's been pretty clear in his press conferences lately that he's open to working at clubs.
  2. Coleman failed at every club he's been at since.
  3. Plymouth beat us to the boy Hazard over Summer
  4. 4-0 a very harsh scoreline. A couple of the subs being miles off the standard required showed us up tonight. Hopefully McKenna, Hanley, and Hickey are back in time for the Euros.
  5. Rosey-cheeked hun from Laurencekirk
  6. Nixon said in a tweet that there had been contact between AFC and Thelin.
  7. I rate him, but he just doesn't look like a footballer
  8. Jimmy Thelin has been made relevant to several European clubs. Earlier this week, there was information that the Elfsborgs coach is relevant for long-standing Aberdeen, now he is speaking out. - As usual, I focus on where I am now and don't think about anything else, he says to the Football Channel. Jimmy Thelin has in recent years been placed in a bunch of different European clubs. Already about a year ago, there were reports of interest from the long-standing Scottish club Aberdeen, but Thelin then remained in BorĂ¥s. Now the rumors about Aberdeen have gained momentum again and the majority of the media places Thelin in the Scottish club. Now the coach, who earlier this year extended his contract with IF Elfsborg, is speaking out. - It is information in the media, I have nothing to say about it actually. I feel good here and my focus is here, he tells Fotbollskanalen. Thelin's new contract with Elfsborg extends over 2026.
  9. That's fine, but the booing won't make them better or more confident players
  10. Not booing every time someone shanks a pass is probably a good start
  11. Being charitable, am I right in saying his form dipped after his wife had a bairn?
  12. If he could be convinced, there's something wrong with him. At least until he knows which league we'll be in next season.
  13. He was a ball hair away from the Sunderland job earlier this season. Like it or not, that would be a bigger job than the Aberdeen one. If he has any sense, he'd know that if he keeps doing what he's doing at Elfsborg, bigger and better opportunities will come along. If he jumps ship to Aberdeen and gets relegated withing 2 months of arrival, his stock goes through the floor.
