Anyone else hearing from the horses mouth that Dave Cormacks lining up ex Don Stephen Glass as a potential replacement for Derek Mcwinless?

Would fit in with what Cormack is trying to do with this Atlanta connection.

Would get Aberdeen relegated, more like.
Glass was a great crosser of the ball but he's a characterless kinda chap.

Also, check your "horses mouth" meaning, young man.

The Northern Lights of old Aberdeen

Mean home sweet home to me

The Northern Lights of Aberdeen

Are what I long to see

I've been a wanderer all of my life

And many a sight I've seen

God speed the day when l'm on my way

To my home in Aberdeen!!

The horse has no name.

The first thing I met, was a fly with a buzz,
And the sky, with no clouds.
The heat was hot, and the ground was dry,
But the air was full of sound.

I was having a word with Mr Ed and he said he’s missing out Cheltenham to save himself for Aintree.
Time will tell.

No way is Steven Gerrard coming to Aberdeen.

Liverpool have first dibs on him.

In Robbies defence...

from the horse's mouth

(of information) from the person directly concerned or another authoritative source

or

The phrase 'to hear something from the horse's mouth' means that you heard the information from someone who has personal knowledge on the spoken matter.

or

If you hear something from the horse's mouth, you hear it from someone who knows that it is definitely true.
He has got to hear it from the horse's mouth.

In other words, Dave doesn't have to be the horse.  :deadhorse:

Interesting view of the definitions of "from the horses mouth".

If the OP is hearing this directly from DC or SG, or someone else directly and intimately connected to the discussion....why is he asking if anyone else has heard if from a similar source?

If Dave Cormack or Stephen Glass were to tell me this directly, my instant reaction would not be to check the veracity of the statement on an internet forum.

Surely a statement that this came "straight from the horse's mouth" would be more appropriate than a question?

Fuck knows min.

He did say "from the", which is generally someone in the know. Someone with authority on the subject?

If he said "straight from the" it would lean more to suggesting it came from Cormack himself. Or his split-arse companion?

As for the "anyone else hearing from the" bit, I suppose there could be many sources for this information if it was actually true.

I'm sticking up for him, but I suppose it could have been worded rather better.

Funnily enough, i had heard or read something similar about Glass, though I thought I read it on here last week or something.

Or maybe some pished cunt telt me it when I was pished.

Da ken.
