  1. Don’t think we went 5 at the back……. Back 4 was McLeish and McKimmie central defence with Robertson and Wright full backs. Huns were allowed to kick us off the park……Hurlock and Brown in particular got away with murder. Jess got nobbled and had to be subbed at half time….I’m pretty sure it was Hurlock that nailed him.
  2. Second one definitely ….spilled a fairly tame shot and left Hately with a tap-in. Just about any competent keeper should have saved it. Fuck all he could do about the first.
  3. No sub goalie in those days ….. Van de Ven went in goals that game and we still won fairly comfortably.
  4. Seen him in action , have you ? ….what is it that he gets wrong ?
  5. That’s nothing…..just last week I woke up about 4 bustin for a shite
  6. They might not really need to go on winning streaks though …..if they both beat us then the gap will be down to a margin to be overturned in only one more game. That said I’m a bit more confident that we can do just enough to keep us safe…..mainly due to the fact that we’ve become a bit more solid defensively. We’ve at least been making the opposition put in some effort to score against us. And Roos hasn’t fucked up big style for a few weeks. Hope I’m not tempting fate.
  7. Hasn’t been a feeling of excitement and belief that we were on to something special like there was coming away from the 6-2 drubbing of Hearts. Just a few days after scudding Partick 7-0. And take your pick from Bett, Grant, Mason and Richardson in midfield.
  8. Getting into the top 6 is a big deal for Dundee so it’s fairly churlish to have a go at them for celebrating. And in complete contrast to us , there’s clearly a unity and togetherness between their team and their fans so why wouldn’t they all celebrate what for them is a significant achievement. At the final whistle yesterday I just fucked off without looking back to see exactly how enthusiastically they were celebrating. So I can’t comment as to how they scored on the sliding scale of appropriate and proportionate celebrations. Who is it that decides these things anyway ?
  9. I wonder how many foreigners with no previous personal experience of Scottish football have been successful in Scotland …..excluding , for obvious reasons, those employed by the arse cheeks
  10. Well done on missing the point completely. McInnes was on a downward trajectory at the point he joined us ….I’m not talking about what he subsequently achieved with us and now Killie. As for the team fighting relegation , it’s the status and realistic aims of the club involved that’s most relevant. For Ross County , it’s pretty much expected that they’re going to be in a relegation battle whenever they’re in the top flight. So for McKay to get top 6 was actually remarkable.
  11. Like McInnes when he joined us Like McInnes when he joined us ? But no, that shouldn’t be one of the requirements …..nor should it hecessarily rule anyone out
