I was saying the same thing earlier today. The difference, bar the quality, is that PSG attacked them without mercy. They didn't fear Celtic in the slightest and went for them from the first minute (second...the first was shite!). McInnes fucks around with formations, makes us sit deep and let them play their game rather than us playing our own. He did the same thing against Motherwell.

Of course they attacked with no fear - theyre leaps and bounds ahead of Celtic!

Make no mistake, going a whole season and a bit without losing is an achievement of note in any league. Celtic seem to be grinding out virtually every result though 1-0 late wins against very much lower opposition, a few draws here and there and only able to raise their game for us, sevco and Hearts.

 

It's hardly inspired football they play and every league game seems to be very much focused on the opponents in hand and not really 'philosophy based' football. That's where Rodgers fucks up royally and always will when it comes to ANY team with a similar or higher budget.

 

It was good to watch and they will continue to entertain in Europe but they will be drilled man for man on Motherwell and will do enough to get over that hurdle. The domestic domination will continue. Just wonder if the celtic fans will be happy with it year on year.
