Explains why he's been playing better the last couple of matches after being shite all season.
-
You quoted me, which part of that don't you understand? It's back on page 22 for all to see. We're done, I'm not getting involved in a back-and-forth argument with someone in denial of the facts.
-
You used the quote function to say that in reply to an earlier post of mine, and that's a fact, ergo you quoted me. If you're not responding directly to me then don't quote me, it's not difficult. Don't then pretend that you didn't.

That's very similar to my reckoning. We'll need a new CF as well assuming Miovski will be sold, unless with him gone Sokler turns out to be the second coming of Bojan.
-
You quoted me you retard.

Good, that means you can look back at my posts from the time and see I wanted an experienced manager and not Robson. What I questioned in the post you quoted was why did Robson get the gig if Thelin was interviewed and the club were interested, not why did Robson get the gig. Don't wilfully misinterpret other people's post to suit your agenda.

That's greedy Hoppy. Win the Scottish league and couple treble in 26 followed by the Champions League in 27.

Kelty Hearts' highest scorer this season with 9 goals and 2 assists in 22 games. In the top 10 highest scorers for that league Highest shot accuracy and goal conversion rate in that top 10 If the BBC website is to be believed Kelty have swtiched between 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1, and 4-4-2 this season and he's been moved around, playing in all the potential forward and wide positions in those formations. I thought he showed promise at the end of last season during the games he played for us at Pittodrie. With the right coaching and opportunities next season I hope he can kick on and become a first team regular and goal scorer. Those like @RUL who watch the youngsters regularly will be able to tell you much more than I can. -
Great interview. Here it is for those that haven't watched it: https://redtv.afc.co.uk/video/8191 Very honest and open about the pursuit of Jimmy, including interviewing him in March last year. It did leave me very confused about why we didn't go for him then but went for Robson instead. If anyone ITK knows what the fuck Robson did to convince the board to hire him over Thelin then I'd be very interested to know what the fuck happened there. I like Burrows, comes across a decent man with integrity. Also willing to take some jibes from Mal about the way he dresses and making jokes about the "AI boardroom" they were in for the previous interview.

He won't though. About 8 first team regulars out of contract or expected to be sold. He'll have the opportunity to bring in the guts of a new team from the beginning. Here's hoping we get the recruitment right this time round 🤞

In anyone hasn't watched his interview on RedTV yet then you should: https://redtv.afc.co.uk/video/8192 I don't think I've been this excited or intrigued by an appointment since we appointed Ebbe. Yes, we all know how that turned out, but at the time he was a bit of a coup, a coach who had actually won trophies and made progress in European competition. Hopefully he'll settle in quick, recruit well, and get us moving forward as a club - playing entertaining football and winning games. I have a feeling the weegia are going to hate him because he's not one of theirs, he's a non-British or Irish coach with a good reputation (only the bigot brothers are allowed those), so he won't be spending time during interviews taking part in their narrative of how the ugly twins are two of the biggest teams in Europe and we should consider ourselves lucky to play in the same league as them. Welcome aboard Jimmy, I'm looking forward to the journey (and trophies, please)

No doubt, almost always the case that certain players do better with certain managers. Clarkson and Duk have been the most disappointing players for me this season because we know they can do better. Maybe Thelin is a man who can get them back to their best. Maybe there's a couple of other players in the squad who are actually much better than we've seen and they just need the right manager/coach to bring it out of them.
-
WTF do you mean with the right manager? Darling Derek signed them for us and they were shit when he played them.

All the players who are out of contract will go. There's players in an ideal world we'd keep but if we are to maximise their value while other clubs want them we will sell (e.g. Miovski, Duk) There's players we'd probably like to move on but the problem is finding someone who wants to buy them at a price we're willing to accept (e.g. Morris, Richardson, Vinnie) We'll need to prioritise certain areas which might mean we'll hang on to some players as squad players we might otherwise have tried to move on. Assuming all the players out of contract are leaving and Bojan and Duk will be sold, of the current match day squad I'd keep McKenzie, Ruby, MacDonald, Devlin, McGrath, Polvara, Clarkson, Shinnie (although like others I think the 3 year contract for Shinnie was a mistake. 2 years would have been enough and then he could have retired gracefully at the end of next season). I think we'll bring in 8 or 9 in the summer to make up the first team squad and most of them I would expect to be in the first XI. Maybe another couple in Jan when the scando leagues are finished and their players become out of contract. I think we'll hang on to guys like Doohan, Jensen, Sokler, McGarry, and Duncan as cover for at least a season until their contracts run out or will be moved on in the summer 2025 window. Hopefully a couple of the youngsters like Bavidge, Milne, and Marshall will make the step up and get a few games (and goals) Fuck knows how we manage to move on the likes of Morris, Richardson, Vinnie, Gueye at a price that allows us to at least recover some of the outlay.
