maybe the edl and other right wing leave voters, are actually all economic geniuses. They've all invested in companies that specialise in preservatives and tinned goods. All the while liasing with a bank on the Cayman islands.

Plus all the bitcoins they mined from day one.

Or at the first sign of nothing happening, in fact getting worse, then blame the ones that said we'll be so well off, moggs, tattie howker Andy bridgen or was it mark Francois. These boys will be long gone when the country goes bananas.

Whoever wins, we lose.

Labour may finally realise Corbyn is a massive loser and it's him that has been holding them back.

I'll have to vote for Alliance over here where I stay ( :gay: ) as it's only them that will remove the DUP seat.

The Alliance are at least a non-sectarian option, but it looks like NI will be a straight fight between Sinn Fein and the DUP, sadly.

Tory voters vote regardless, so always have a high turnout. Other party voters are less committed.

I think they should fine people who are registered to vote and don't vote.

Obviously, thousands of miles away but have been following closely since May was dying in a ditch.

My only question is...why don't labour get rid of corbyn for someone who is palatably electable? He clearly isn't. If labour can't win this election, then they are truly fucked.

Because Corbyn is the most popular leader Labour have had in decades with folk who'll actually vote Labour. Because Corbyn is the only leader Labour have had in a generation who actually stands for Labour values. Because Corbyn is a leader who's been demonised and smeared in the media, with nothing but lies, yet has remained dignified and on track to deliver a government that will change the UK for the better.

He's not helped his case with previous antics regarding IRA and other terrorist organisations.

If Corbz had been PM we'd have gotten a Good Friday agreement about 15 years earlier.

Consistently on the correct side of history, has been our JC

Yip, total madness trying to get people to change parties. Much better to appeal to the same minority and stay in opposition.

Corbihno isnt the type to sell his soul to Murdoch and Dacre the way Blair did

Corbz is a man of principle - the type who appeals to the likes of me (and obvz not you)

He also won’t kiss Trumps arse

Not doubting anything that has been said, but opinion polls are saying he is unelectable. Know polls value are decreasing ( see recent oz elections, maybe yanks). But who from the labour party can get them elected. The gap at the moment isn't even maybe/maybe not.

Take Iraq and Afghanistan away and the man did a good job. He made more difference in power than Corbs will make in opposition.

Polls consistently show Labour lower and the Tories higher in non-election periods. This is because the media can freely biasedly report. Once elections are called, the rules on media reporting change and fairer and more balanced coverage is required by law.

Theresa May's Tories were 21 points ahead when the last election was announced in 2017 (the lead even grew initially to 25 points, if you believe certain pollsters). Yet in the end the difference was 2.4%.

"Take away the illegal wars, lying to parliament and the deaths of 100,000's of people and he was alright".

^ That's a bit like the old one about Mussolini making the trains run on time.
