Parklife
Sure there is a clause where he gets an extra months payment from Norwich if he doesn't sign for anyone so maybe doesn't want to be seen or isn't allowed to be with Hearts if he hasn't signed?Yeah, also heard this. Apparently if you haven't found a new club, you're entitled to up to an extra month of salary. Which for Naismith is apparently around £160k... Likely Hearts will be without him for the first few weeks of the season. Link to comment

shut up meg
Your club defaulted on nearly £30m of debt yet it's only you and your fellow deluded Hearts fans that believe you didn't massively cheat during that period. Hearts Scotland's "third force? Fuck me I've heard it all now. Imagine refering to your club as any type of "force" as Hearts fans tend to do when Celtic have won more major trophies in the last 13 months than they have in the last 56 years. Deluded loser talk. But in my lifetime Hearts have always been losers. Not even in the top 5 most successful Scottish clubs in the last half century. Never won the league since the days of black and white tv. Losers. I've seen Hearts relegated 4 times and Hibs relegated 3 times in my lifetime.Tin pot clubs. 5 Link to comment
Shinniesta
I've seen Hearts relegated 4 times and Hibs relegated 3 times in my lifetime.Tin pot clubs.Since we were formed we've won more trophies than both of them put together during that time. WHS makes a big thing out of seeing Hearts win 3 Scottish Cups and while I agree with him that it is a more prestigious trophy than the League Cup (mostly due to it being one of the oldest cup competitions in the world) it isn't necessarily easier to win. You have to beat the same level of clubs in either competition it's not like Juventus or Real Madrid suddenly enter the fray when the SC comes around. This season was a very good example of that. Aberdeen reached the LC final and Hearts the SC final. But who had the far easier run to get to those finals? We had by far the harder task. So had we won the LC and Hearts the SC our win would have been the more impressive due to the tough draws we had from the QF onwards compared to the piss easy draws Hearts had in the SC. 1 Link to comment

boboisared
Has Naismith signed for Hearts yet? He's not signing in July as there's some rule in England where released players are entitled to a months wage if they don't have a club. Works out at something daft like £100k. Link to comment
Dynamo
Josh Vela signed. Great signing for the emerald greens of luscious Leith. On paper looks a far better player than the fat Belgian mercenary. More than 100 games at a higher level. Thrilled. Just count your blessings we allowed that move to go through. 4 Link to comment

Tord31
I'd imagine Josh Vela is one we might have been tracking for one of the midfield slots. It'll be interesting to see how he turns out compared to Bryson, Ojo and whomever is the last midfield signing Link to comment
