Tommy
Hamilton will be due a percentage of any fees as part of the development rule, Dyce BC got a 6 figure fee as part of Armstrong moving from Celtic to Southampton.Seems that each club a player was registered with from age 12 earns 5% of any subsequent transfer. fine-n-dandy
Seems that each club a player was registered with from age 12 earns 5% of any subsequent transfer. Is that 5% between all clubs, or 5% to all clubs each? So we get 5% also? Link to comment
Tommy
Is that 5% between all clubs, or 5% to all clubs each?So we get 5% also?5% to each club he was registered with. We’d get whatever % we negotiated with a buying club and if they sold him we would get the agreed % plus the 5% - as far as I understand. That’s why Dyce Boys Club got a 6 figure sum when Armstrong left Celtic.I wonder what height Armstrong was when he played for a club 7 miles from Pittodrie. Link to comment

He was taller than Maloney, so very strange that we turned him down for being a little chubby Link to comment
Simply Red
So did Dyce boys club get a fee every time Armstrong was sold? He was taller than Maloney, so very strange that we turned him down for being a little chubbyDarren Mackie isnt bigger than Maloney so how come he got selected for us at youth level if Maloney was apparently too small? Pile of shit. Especially as Maloney and Armstrong arent just shitey journeymen players, they are/where both good quality players and we missed both of them. To a lesser extent you could also put Coutts into the same category of decent players on our doorstop that we’ve let go too soon or just not bothered with at all. Link to comment

Tord31
the 5% is shared between the previous clubs registered at. So for example if Kenny McLean is sold 5% will be shared between Aberdeen, St Mirren, Rangers (in liquidation) and Aberdeen Link to comment

Imagine that he will head down South when he does decide to move on as opposed to Sevco, where let's be honest, their long term financial future is far from secure. Link to comment

Ten Caat
Presumably because he was with us as a youth player and joined us for a second time further on in his career Link to comment

Tord31
100%. More valuable than McKenna, Cosgrove or Joe Lewis. He'll be in the Scotland squad during 2020 and might not hang around here much longer Link to comment
Byrne Baby Byrne
I could be in the Scotland squad for 2020 as we ain't going to be there. Are Scotland not playing any games next year like? Link to comment

CityCentre
My only issue with him is he doesn't keep hold of the ball like Jack did, we don't control possession for long period of play, something he can hopefully improve on. 1 Link to comment

Andy_123
Showed great determination and hunger in the middle to drag us back into the game when he was put back into his natural position. All the hype McKenna got last season, Cosgrove this season, we'd probably miss Ferguson more than both of them. Link to comment
