Steven Thompson Impales Team-Mate

Recommended Posts

(He must have learned this behaviour during his time at Mordor)

St Mirren captain Steven Thompson was "mortified" after a foolish prank during a training session left a team mate with a gaping wound.

Thompson threw a spiked pole at 20-year-old John McGinn after he robbed him of the ball and it struck him on the thigh, causing severe bleeding.

"I'm just mortified by the whole thing," Thompson told the Scottish Sun on Monday.

"It was a daft prank. It wasn't like I threw the pole out of anger or anything like that. That's not what happened."

McGinn missed the 4-1 Premier League victory over Kilmarnock on Saturday and Thompson plans to make amends by giving him his win bonus.

Your geography is iffy at best though, tupster. You seem to think wick is in Aberdeen they way you talk

According to distancescalc.com,

Travel distance between wick and aberdeen is 329 km.

But travel distance between glasgow and aberdeen is a mere 234 km.

So we weegies are practically locals, and the wickites glory-hunting interlopers from afar! ;)

I've no problem with weegies, frankly they're a lot cheerier than Aberdonians.

It's the Bheasts and the Zombies I have issues with, and they're from all over the place.

There needs to be a collective term for the Blue and Green scum that differentiates them from the good sorts.
