Dribbling in my bath chair with my mixed boilings, I was thinking about this.

Early days in the premier league we used to whack them routinely, so loads of good memories from then but they merge and blur a bit.

I think most satisfying in recent times was the Maddison 2-1. First time my son had ever seen them. We were pretty pish that day which made it even more satisfying. Was directly behind in the RDS, pretty sure the free kick skiffed the bar and the post on the way in, it was so perfect.

Long time since I'd felt so good coming away from a game.

Not the biggest in score line, but in terms of importance, the 1-0 win when Gilhaus scored in the 90th minute in March 91.
It was the spring board to take us to the top of the league in May, only to blow it in the last game.

Andy Dow, 118th minute winner, CIS Cup quarter final, December 1st 1999. I am not someone who makes much noise at the football but I went completely crazy when that went in. I'm not even sure why this one sticks out so much for me but is genuinely one of my favourite moments at Pittodrie

Beating them 2-0 in Roy Aitken's first game was massive, we were struggling at that point.

Any win against those cunts is a good win. Haven't been to any of the three at Ibrox under McInnes unfortunately.

The one in the snow when Snoyl scored was good, but the last game of the season with the Severin screamer for me.

The one with Maddison winner was unreal at the end, but the whole game was shite and I was pissed off throughout re McInnes' approach to it. We had the team to go toe to toe and pump them but he pussied out and gave them the ball.

Been to 2 of the 3. The cup in particular was a highlight due to how comfortable it was. Easy.

I was in the RD lower that game and the angle I was at looked like it'd sneaked in off the bar and off the back of the keeper of something.

Wasnt till I left the ground I realised how good the free kick was.

Left early from this one and missed the winner.  :clangers2:

On my way back into town to check in to my hotel, then meet back up with the lads.

Nearly bumped into a group of huns who had also left early, minute earlier i would've.

Anyways.

Edit : First time we'd beaten them in the league in seven years .

Christmas Eve 1977, 4 fucking nill. Hun cunts invaded the pitch in a failed attempt to get the game abandoned.

A few slaps administered post match. Ace for a young loon to witness.

Aye the Frankie hat trick hammering was great, obviously the Game where Durrant clearly dived an injured himself very memorable. The Maddison winner was superb also

The 2-1 win at that shithole with Shinnie & Christie scoring was fucking incredible. The huns in the end of the side stand above us were frothing.

Walked through George Sq later that night singing the Durrant song and I've never been happier.

I’m sure that was the first time I’d ever seen us beat the Huns too. Might be getting it mixed up with another game at the time but did Leighton not pull of a brilliant flying save right at the end of that game?

Just an early 80s mishmash of memories. Everything from John McMaster flat out in front Of the main stand, insults to football like Hugh burns and terry fucking Hurlock, Willie miller giving as good as he was getting, coins rattling off the tin in the South, Frankie Mac, Nicky Walker etc etc etc

Enjoyed beating them on the last game of the season meaning they couldn’t win the title, a few days after they got beat vs Zenit St Petersburg. A few huns got out of their car and were frothing at their mouths after the game after a group of us leaving the ground were taunting them, the look on their faces was worth the trip to Pittodrie alone.

1-0 at Hampden, Lewis Ferguson. Counted for fuck all cause we never won the cup, obviously.

Was absolutely rat arsed and spewed on the megabus on the way up the road, not my finest hour, can't remember most of it, aside from the last 20 mins.

Got a wee bozy from Tony Docherty down the front at the end.

Get it up the hun pigs.

My first game at Pittodrie.  I mind one of their players taking a blatant dive and not even getting booked for it.

2nd March 1991. 1v0 - Gillhaus scored a late winner. Place was absolutely jumping.
Left that match with a real feeling we’d win the league.

Yeah it was a strange one.  Sums up cowardly McInnes for me... their team was absolutely woeful, the likes of Forrester, Holt, Halliday, Wilson, Garner, McKay!  Terrible they were!  We had Hayes, Maddison, McLean, Rooney, Shinnie - we were the better team on paper.  Looking back it wasn't even close.  Obviously we won the game, so McInnes had the last laugh - but, for 90 mins, I was raging, as I couldn't believe we'd shat if off that team!

12th January 1980 3-2 home win with a last gasp winner by Derek Hamilton into the old beach end, a vital goal and a vital 2 points come the end of the season.

TV cameras were there so might be on youtube.
