OddJob
Animals - House if the Rising Sun I never realised that was a cover. Who did the original? Brilliant song Each to their own son; you know I appreciate your take on things. I've plenty love for TFF, but always thought their version of it was over the top ((overloaded with sounds and unneeded weedling)...very much against the grain of their classics. Gary's let the beautiful melody do the talking - which was all it needed. Stripped back, it sounded a lot better I thought.I know what you're saying Dad, I love TFF too but think that version is better I might be about to cause a stir here but even tho I'm a massive Beatles & Lennon fan, I prefer Roxy Musics version of Jealous Guy. Am I wrong? Link to comment

Honourable mentionYou meaning AATW (All along the watchtower)? Pretty sure HOTRS (house of the rising sun) is credited as Traditional arranged by Price. Even though he supposedly hated the song. Think the origins of the song couldn't be established. Or I might be talking utter shite. Link to comment
