Taken in the context of the other comments I assume he's saying he accepts it was a penalty but disagrees with Clarke saying Logan should have been sent off too - because it wasn't a serious enough foul to merit a red card.

Problem is this widespread belief now that any contact whatsoever in the box = penalty.

Agree. Referees bring this problem on themselves by giving penalties for the slightest touch. If they don't give them then players will stop looking for them.

Exactly. Nightmare for decent tackling CH's. Scared to even attempt a tackle in the box. Just rely on getting in a players way in hope they fk their shot up.

Football is turning into a basketball type pish game.

Bad enough that the keepers get so much protection when they have the clear advantage of being able to use their hands anyway & can protect themselves going for high balls using their knees. The rules are crazy in some cases. They also vary so fkn much according to where incidents take place.
