I don't think the system suits Rooney and Goodwiilie together because McInnes will end up playing Rooney on the wing which is worst than a waste of a shirt. I don't think we have the midfield players for a 4-4-2 either. Can't trust McGinn on the wing to defend at all which he'd need to so would potentially be looking at Hayes - Shinnie - Mclean - Smith/Wright? Pawlett? Used to be a winger but he's not really even a footballer anymore. I agree Rooney was atrocious yesterday and was a waste of a shirt. But he wasn't alone in that. Link to comment
