Did we sign Craig Bryson on the recommendation of a medical report faxed by Derby County (The Velicka) or did he actually have and pass a medical at Aberdeen, prior to signing?

 

What do they actually do in training, and what is the role of our Sports Scientist, Graham Kirk? Very worrying times ahead.

We seem to be the only team in the league that doesn't look abroad for players. Motherwell signed a Seedorf, we sign Greig fucking Leigh.

Interesting thought as to who is responsible for getting players fit. The manager or the sports scientist. All I know is that 2 overweight, lazy but talented forwards in Stewart and Shankland have been and gone. Seemed to get their act together pretty quickly elsewhere.

There would be no requirement for pay offs/redundancies if there was no need for certain positions, i.e. sports scientists, football consultants, incapable coaches and scouts.

 

There were hardly any injuries in the days when Aberdeen trained on Aberdeen beach or the car park in the shadow of the main stand, so cannot understand why we endure such extensive injuries nowadays when players seem to be even more protected compared with back then.

In terms of fitness and probably attitude, it's night and day the difference at Killie and Sevco than when he was here (twice)!
