Yea, so was I. We don't get many bands like the up here and I saw them in Inverness earlier in the year but I was looking forward to seeing a headlining show from them this time.

I've already got my money refunded for the tickets, at least my credit card bill will be a wee bit lighter now.

Never been a massive fan of Stone Sour or Avenged Sevenfold to be honest. They have some decent songs but can't say I'd go out of my way to see either of them.

Going to see Amorphis at the Cathouse in November. I'm more interested in seeing the support band Orphaned Land but I've downloaded the two most recent Amorphis albums to see what they are like and I'm quite liking them so far.

Went to see Spamalot on Friday...it was very funny! Better than I was expected and loving the piss taking of musicals in the songs and dancing.

I went to see Spamalot too and thought it was brilliant. Eric Idle's take on, like you said, ripping the piss out of musicals was brilliant.

I'm going to Wizard this weekend. Anyone else going? I won't be getting to see Bez however as he decided to beat up his ex and is now jailed :(

Edit: that post looks as though I feel sorry for Bez being jailed for beating up his ex with the inclusion of the sad face. This isn't true.

New York Dolls at the lemon tree last night was excellent, more energy and good tunes than most "younger" bands.

I was there too. A couple of real old troupers fronting this band, but as you say good tunes and they looked like they were enjoying it.
