Fair enough he came on near the end on saturday but what I don't understand is all the fuss and calls for him to be made captain and that he must play everyweek, he only touched the ball a few times yet folk are wetting their punts because of it.

which players in the AFC squad are better at centre half?? which players inspire others more?? which players show leadershop qualities??

Does Diamond really inspire others? it's hard to tell, and to me he doesn't act anything like a real leader should.

Zander is having his best season ever the way people are going on, he makes plenty mistakes but people seem to have forgotten all that and built him up to be some kind of god while he has been out.

No it isn't, over the last few years Diamond has made thousands of costly mistakes yet because he wears his heart on his sleeve people just ignore those mistakes and praise him.

I've been wanting him installed as Captain for two seasons. Leader and would run through brick walls for the club. Also best CB we have.

In your opinion, not mine, too many people seem to froget that Diamond is just an average player in a poor side and has been for a while now with no real sign of him improving.

Now now Niall, Zander has had plenty of criticism for inept performances over the year, but what can not be directed at him is lack of passion and determination.

Those two attributes have been badly missing from the team for large parts of this season, him back in the team will only benefit AFC.

Yeah, I realise he has those two attributes but alot let that cloud their opinions and becausew he shows that sort of drive a lot think he is a top player when quite clearly he isn't.
